We take at least one trip to Popham every Summer. The kids love exploring and I love looking for shells. Parking can be a nightmare so get there early or be prepared to hike in with all your gear. Don't forget to take a trip to the Fort before leaving, it's a lot of fun

This is a great place to visit and get views from the point including the lobster fisherman. Drop toilets might get interesting in the summer!

We stopped at this beach on the recommendation of one of the locals we met in Bath, ME. It was mid October and there was only one other couple that we saw the entire time. It is a huge, and beautiful beach. At low tide there is so much to explore and the views are fantastic. There are nearby restaurants... More

We've been to a lot of beaches in Maine and this is our favorite. It's huge. You can go whether it's high or low tide and there's usually plenty of room to find a spot. There are two sides to the beach which form a sort of L and at low tide you can walk across to one of the... More

Worth the drive to get to this secluded beach. Very beautiful and great for beachcombing. I found 3 sand dollars while there and several shells.

This a a beautiful beach, worth the drive to get there. I walked the entire length and back, other than the crashing waves it is so peaceful. There are restrooms and outdoor showers at the parking lot and some picnic tables over looking the ocean

Nice clean beach, swimming, wading, fishing, walking, and surfing. This beach is off the beaten path but very nice place to go with lots to do.

This is a beautiful beach with bathroom facilities and a small island to explore during low tide. Did I mention the beautiful beach? This is a nice place to spend the day lying on the sand, exploring the rocks for sea life, or swimming. This is the Maine coastline at its best.

We stopped here after visiting Fort Popham! What a beautiful way to end our vacation...that being said...next year we will find someplace closer as this was a great beach...clean..family oriented...close to little shops for food...souveniers...really enjoyable! My grandson spent the afternoon crabbing and had a wonderful time making new friends! We will definitely spend more time there next vaca!
