A highlight of our annual trip to the Mid-Coast area of Maine is a sail with Captain Bob Pratt and his first mate, Diane, on the Morning in Maine. Captain Bob is a marine biologist and former teacher who has a vast knowledge about the Penobscot Bay area, the fishing industry, and sailing vessels. He imparts this information with a... More

My whole family enjoyed this trip very much. We wanted a boat that was designed for a smaller group than the big 40 person boats. The smaller group was comfortable and made it easy to interact. Captain Bob was great.

My wife and I went out with Captain Bob on a Sunday morning in October, just before the last day of the season. Although there were only 4 of us, and I am sure this was not a money maker for the Captain, he could not have been nicer about going out nonetheless... The boat is a beauty - a... More

We have been on several sail boats in this part of Maine. This was by far the best ever. Captain Bob Pratt is a Marine Biologist, a Master Maine Guide, and owner of this gorgeous sailboat! We found it just by walking down to the dock. One look and we knew this was the sail we wanted to go on.... More

Best day sailing in Rockland, hands down. It was gorgeous and Capt Bob was so knowledgable about the area. Owls Head lighthouse was delightful. And did you know that it's 100 feet up, which gives you perspective on how high that wave was in The Perfect Storm?

The highlight of our first trip to Rockland was to see the area from the Morning in Maine with Capt Bob Pratt. Although the wind didn't cooperate, Capt Bob kept us informed of all the things to see and we had and enjoyable sail.

The Captain and First Mate were very friendly, knowledgeable and fun. They even let me drive the boat, I didn't lose even one passenger!! If you are in or around Rockland, Me and you don't take advantage of the opportunity to see they bay from this ship, you are missing the time of your life!! We went on this 2... More
