Great beach for walking as well as sunbathing. Love it any time of the year. Love finding sand dollars!

Very nice beach and location. Looks so different now with all the commercial buildings/shops but should not deter from the nice water and great beaches.

Pier is impressive, expansive beach, amusement park and fireworks weekly during the summer months. Many restaurants within walking distance from the beach. Live bands play at several restaurants overlooking the ocean. Trolley car available.

Husband and I went here via the offered Trolley Shuttle ($1each/each way) from the KOA where we stayed 4 nights. Trolley was excellent. Beach was charming and pretty and relaxing to walk. Pier was too crowded for me but interesting.

Great Parking near the pier costs from $10-20, but you'll get easy access to the beach, security for your car, and best of all, a bathroom! The pier is a must. They have a famous coke and hotdog for $.99 and a few... More
