My husband and I travel to Maine several times a year, but until this trip we've always managed to miss Old Orchard Beach. We're not much into the tourist thing, but we had some time on our hands and decided to wander into the town shopping area. Most of the shops were the expected souvenir fare, but then we walked... Beach, pool, the pier, shopping and good food - this is such a great place to spend the summer! I can't wait to get back there each year.

Going there for the Lobsters and the Clams.Lots of good sea food restaurant, and sea shacks. They are all good. You will discover your favorite. That beach is one of the best in this world, plus it is certainly the best maintained with the citys cleaning very early morning time.

Have been here many times, as couples and with families. Fun, friendly beach. Plenty to do besides the beach. Able to catch some shade under the pier if needed. If it rains there is still plenty going on around that can make the day a great one.

The Beach is huge with so much to see & do. You will more then likely have to pay for parking somewhere. Free spots are rare to find any where in this area. Palace Playland is a favorite of adult & kids. Lots of shops & food. You really need to see this beach!

Don’t park in the center, try driving 10 minutes north or south for a quieter stretch of beach. We found that there’s free parking right off the beach in some areas. We enjoyed the area it was a little bit crowded but relaxing.

We've been going here every August for quite sometime. It's a Great get away and always a blast. The beach is wonderful and we've been lucky to get awesome weather most everytime. There is lots to do in the area,so we stay right around the beach the whole time we're there. And enjoy all of OOB attractions and restaurants. We... More

One of the best beaches in New England. 7 miles of soft sand. Waves, and sun. Bars, and shops. If you love to walk the beach, this is the beach for you.

This beach (south side at least) is clean, has great sand and at low tide has plenty of room for all activities; water can be pretty cold though.
