We took the boat ride that went around the Nubble Light. This boat is run by a local man and his wife. He is the captain and she is the narrator. She does a good job giving you a history of all the sights that you see on the way to Nubble Light and do get you in close that... More

Three ladies were in the area for the first time and decided to take a ride on the lobster cruise. We learned a lot since we don't have many lobsters in Iowa. The crew was great and the views were outstanding. I thought the price was pretty cheap for the experience as well. We even had our first whole lobsters... More

We went up for a day trip in the fall and had the pleasure of another boat ride to the Nubble Lighthouse. Always a nice way to spend the afternoon.

We loved this cruise to the Nubble lighthouse. The day was warm, but the sea was a little choppy - I felt as if I was on the ocean for the first time in my life! As others have mentioned, the boat chugs along to the lighthouse for wonderful photo opportunities of the Nubble from the water, then heads back... More

I took the Nubble Lighthouse Cruise on 9/19/13. The day was perfect in that it was sunny, barely a breeze, high 60s/low 70s, and the ocean was calm and beautiful. While a little expensive ($26 pp), since I was on vacation, I treated myself. We left out of Perkins Cove harbor (right at Barnacle Billy's) on time, with plenty of... More

I took the nubble lighthouse cruise, its a great tour to relax and see the ocean and landmarks along the way to nubble light house. Our tour guide/MC was : Thomas who was very friendly and knew his stuff/ part of his job i'm sure! HA! The price was $26 a person, not bad at all. The only downfall is... More

If you want a fun, educational (for kids and adults alike) and scenic excursion that the whole family can enjoy, do the lobster boat trip. Once you make your way out of Perkins Cove, the captain will take you along the shoreline and give the history, the facts and provide opportunities for some beautiful pictures to be taken. They will... More

We took an afternoon ride on the Cricket sailboat during Labor Day weekend and had an absolutely wonderful time. We booked in advance (so easy) and ended up being the only ones on the boat--so it was essentially a private tour of the cove and surrounding coast. Captain Grant Hubbard was an excellent guide, giving incredibly helpful information about the... More

I have done a couple of the cruises now with Finestkind, both the Lobster and Nubble Light cruise. Both cruises were great, the guides really knew their history of the local towns and the sea life. My kids and I learned a lot about the lobsters and I now have new knowledge about how to order my lobsters at a... More

This past weekend my husband and I went on our first sailboat. It was fantastic!! The Captain and his lovely family gave us an experience of a lifetime!! We were extremely fortunate to have the sailboat to ourselves!! We took the 11:00 sail, first of the day. The ocean was calm and the skies were bright!! I STRONGLY recommend taking... More
