Take the sunset cruise at 7:00 p.m. It is a bonus if a thunderstorm is looming on the horizon! We set sail last night and it was fantastic. My daughter, age 26, and I enjoyed a rum punch and a wonderful sail! The seating is comfortable, the crew is accommodating and hospitable! We enjoyed a nice blend of clientele: moms... More

Enjoyed the cruise and history related to the old lighthouse. Tour guide was very knowledgeable regarding the history and the view offered many opportunities for excellent photo's.

On advice of a waitress, we chose to take the lobster boat tour instead of a ‘whale watching’ boat tour. She said that in all her years in Ogunquit, she had never heard of whales ‘this far south in the Maine coast’. So we looked into the Finestkind Lobster Boat tour in Perkins Cove. We made reservations that morning for... More

Bottom Line: Fun experience and my daughter loved it too. Details: We accidentally found this on our visit to Perkin's Cove and very happy we did. We opted for the lobster boat cruise as I tend to get seasick and the Nubble Lighthouse cruise was much longer. The water was described as "rolling" and as I boarded the boat I... More

This was a nice and relaxing 90-minute cruise along the coast from Perkins Cove in Ogunquit down along York and around Nubble Light. The 'first mate' gave some great narration about the houses and other sights along the way. Cocktails were available on board for small money. Seating was on wooden benches with pads. Seating in the font and the... More

We took the boat ride that went around the Nubble Light. This boat is run by a local man and his wife. He is the captain and she is the narrator. She does a good job giving you a history of all the sights that you see on the way to Nubble Light and do get you in close that... More

Three ladies were in the area for the first time and decided to take a ride on the lobster cruise. We learned a lot since we don't have many lobsters in Iowa. The crew was great and the views were outstanding. I thought the price was pretty cheap for the experience as well. We even had our first whole lobsters... More

We went up for a day trip in the fall and had the pleasure of another boat ride to the Nubble Lighthouse. Always a nice way to spend the afternoon.

We loved this cruise to the Nubble lighthouse. The day was warm, but the sea was a little choppy - I felt as if I was on the ocean for the first time in my life! As others have mentioned, the boat chugs along to the lighthouse for wonderful photo opportunities of the Nubble from the water, then heads back... More

I took the Nubble Lighthouse Cruise on 9/19/13. The day was perfect in that it was sunny, barely a breeze, high 60s/low 70s, and the ocean was calm and beautiful. While a little expensive ($26 pp), since I was on vacation, I treated myself. We left out of Perkins Cove harbor (right at Barnacle Billy's) on time, with plenty of... More

HI and thanks for your review on Trip Advisor. We just wanted to address a couple of the items mentioned in your review: Regarding safety instructions, we comply with all US Coast requirements and are inspected every year. All prices are happily provided by our crew. We understand you presumed your soda would be served in a can - it... More
