The Ogunquit Playhouse is the best of theater. It is housed in an historic building. The playhouse has the simple charm of an old summer theater. You could feel the warmth of community support from the volunteers working there. We saw Million Dollar Quartet. It was a first class, Broadway caliber production. The singing, acting, set, costumes -- all were... More

We saw the opening of The Million Dollar Quartet...wow, what a show. Your toe is tapping within a minute of the start and continues all the way through. The cast had wonderful voices matched perfectly to their parts: John Cash, Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins and Jerry Lee Lewis. Do yourself a favor and take the time and money to see... More

Went to Ogunquit Playhouse to see Millon Dollar Quarted. The resemblance to the original characters was uncanny and if you closed your eyes you would think you were listening to the original recordings from Sun Studios. If you are in Ogunquit it's a must see. Even if you're not, it's worth the trip.

Just saw Million Dollar Quartet, incredible! The guys were spot on with the voices, moves and instruments. The music was fantastic, I couldn't sit still. My only complaint was that we couldn't get up in the aisles and dance. I want to see it again.

Amazing performance by all the actors. They nailed the mannerisms of each and their voices brought one back to the 50's. Could not stop toe tapping and moving to the music. During intermission make sure to check out the new garden seating and enjoy a drink.

We booked tickets to the play several weeks before our trip to Maine. This place is so popular, there was only one show where we could get two seats together during our stay. It's an old building, but quite nicely done inside. The theatre has stadium seating so you don't have to worry about someone in front of you blocking... More

We have been to many quality performances at The Ogunquit Playhouse this year and last. The plays are wonderful with top rated talent and performances. I find it easier to go to the Ogunquit than fighting my way through Boston to see a quality play. The parking is free at the Ogunquit as compared to booko bucks in Boston. Some... More

I never miss a show at the Ogunquit Playhouse! It really is like having Broadway right here in the beautiful state of Maine. LOVE seeing Sally Struthers every summer, the music, the dancing, the laughter, the sets and costumes....all top notch. A must see when visiting Ogunquit!

Attended the show "Nice Work If You Can Get It". Excellent presentation. Sound is good and there isn't a bad seat in the house. There are three locations on the property where you can get refreshments before the show and at intermission. Parking is good and when you enter the parking lot you are directed to a parking area determined... More

We have been very fortunate to have now attended three productions at the Ogunquit Playhouse since May 2014, this year Sister Act in May and Good work if You Can Get It during our most recent visit in August to this beautiful shoreline of Maine. The scenery (straight from Broadway), the actors/actresses, the music, the humor, etc., etc. were just... More
