I have been going to shows here for about 8 years now, and I go to almost every single one every year. Never have I been disappointed with a show here. They are always top tier performances and it is my favorite playhouse to see shows off-Broadway. This is a must do when in southern Maine on vacation. The playhouse... More

My family and I saw Mary Poppins which was really great. The music and the sets were top-notch. The theater is a little cramped, but it manages to be part of the charm of a small beach town theater. My niece did the theater camp and performed in Jack and the Beanstalk, which was also charming. The children did great... More

Recently returned from Ogunquit where we saw the current production, Mary Poppins. It wouldn't make a difference what is being offer when you visit; just go. It couldn't be better. Every show we have seen over the past thirty years have be great. The quality of the productions have been increased recently with new funding from a charitable foundation that... More

Loved the theatre - small and personal yet offered broadway style show with excellent performers! Must see when in town.

We went to see Mary Poppins and had a wonderful time. We have been to the playhouse several times, however this time we felt squeezed into our seats. They did not have aisle seats, so we sat in the middle and felt very cluster-phobic. Overall, quintessential theater with charm and character!

I went to the Ogunquit Playhouse for the first time to see "Mary Poppins" and I was astounded by the brilliance of the performance. The sets, special effects, choreography and acting were spectacular. When everything about a performance comes together perfectly in combination with a poignant storyline, everyone feels the magic. I can't wait to go back next summer when... More

It is midnight on a Saturday evening and we just returned from seeing Mary Poppins. What a wonderful presentation. The scenery was exceptional and the acting suburb. We have seen the movie but this play and the professional cast and the music all very well done. We came out humming the tunes. They were given a standing ovation that was... More

We attended the Billy Elliot production and were amazed and delighted with the performance. The energy and talent of the cast was remarkable and they received a well deserved standing ovation at the end. The theatre itself is comfortable and has plenty of parking with easy access to route 1. Can't wait to see what's playing next season

We attended a production of Billy Elliot, a musical we had already seen on Broadway. This production was better! The theater is smaller and therefore more intimate, but also they attract the NY Theater talent which makes for great performances. This is regional theater on steroids! They know how to deliver.

We visit the area several times a year. We always make sure to see one play while we are there. We hope to see the Witches of East in the fall.
