This is a very nice playhouse. They have done many things to make this a very comfortable and easily accessible venue. Parking was not a problem and easily accessible to the playhouse. We had excellent seats and tickets were very reasonable for that type of play.

My wife and I enjoyed our visit to the playhouse. We saw Sister Act, which was well and professionally done. About our only complaint is that we were only a few rows from the stage on the side, and the sound system was a bit overpowering. Oddly, the decibel level created some distortion, making some of the dialog hard to... More

We usually try to attend a few shows each season at the Ogunquit Playhouse, it's just a matter of which ones we are going to see.. There is always a great selection of Broadway quality musicals/shows with professional actors/actresses at a much more reasonable cost. If you are passing through southern Maine, this should definitely be fit into your schedule.... More

We have attended opening nights at the Ogunquit Playhouse for almost all the plays over the last 8 or 10 years. We've never seen anything but the best performances there. Casting is particularly perfect, and the sets are remarkable - built from the ground up for each production - extraordinary talent and well worth the price of admission!

You must run to the Ogunquit Maine box office to experience the pure joy of their outstanding production of NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT. Opening night was unreal as the audience went wild with laughs coming at them from the stage like rapid gunshots! The ENTIRE cast from the two leads to Sally Struthers outrageous hysterical performance and... More

If you are in Maine, don't miss the Ogunquit Playhouse. I have never been to a play at the theater that was not wonderful. I just went to see "It Is Nice Work If You Can Get It" and it was as good as any Broadway Show if not better. The singing, dancing, acting and comedy was outstanding.

My spouse and I have attended many performances at the Ogunquit Playhouse for the last 30 years. I guess people do not read up about the rich history of the Ogunquit Playhouse. I overheard a woman say that she thought the actors were local talent and it was a community theater. Poor dear! The performers are professionals and the main... More

I have never seen a bad show at the Ogunquit Playhouse. The seat are comfortable and the theater is air conditioned. I love this place! I go there at least three times each season. The last show I saw was Sister Act...fabulous!

This theater is a little pricey, compared to most Summer Stock. They do on occasion have known talent. The voices on Victor/Victoria were wonderful, but I think I enjoyed Sister Act better...sets and costumes, but the story line was closer to the movie in Sister Act.
