The production, Billy Elliot was fabulous. I just wish I could have seen it from my seat. I had purchased premium tickets but couldn't see past the head in front of me. I spent the last half of the play standing at the back. I would love to return but only if I could secure better seats.

Went to see Billy Elliot last night and the performance was outstanding, the actors, singers, dancers all excelled however our seats were terrible. We've been to the playhouse several times and I can't recall having seating as bad as last nights. We were in Row W center which is the back of the theater, I am 6'2 and my wife is 5'7... More

BILLY ELLIOT was outstanding. We've seen it in other theaters and the calibre of the OP performers was top notch.

Billy Eliott was a great production with very talented performers and wonderful choreography. However, the Playhouses' seating quality and seating configuration left a lot to be desired. Very difficult to see the performers below the waist (kinda important for a dance/musical) from the rear orchestra. Seat quality just did'nt work for my bottom. Could not get comfortable for most of... More

Wow--a local theatre of this caliber? We just saw a phenomenal performance of Billy Elliot--we have never been to a poor performance here--they have all been amazing! We also attended a new series they are promoting, which was a discussion and Q&A with the director and choreographer--fantastic. The theater will hopefully be around for a very long time (it already... More

Had the opportunity to go to the Ogunquit Playhouse while on vacation in Maine. I try to go at least once a year. Saw Billy Elliot and it was marvelous. Such great young talent. Great venue. Love having drinks out on the grassy patio area.

We have been to this venue many times, and seen approximately a dozen or more shows. Although and old venue, I have always enjoyed going there. The short playing season is the only downfall to this venue. I wish it was open year round. Get your tickets for a show, I know you won't be disappointed!

As others have noted, the quality of the production & the performance were truly top notch. In addition, however, the theater itself & its staff helps create an outstanding experience. The theater was charming & steeped with history, There are a ton of photos of the many stars who have graced that stage. We stopped for a drink before the... More

Do not worry about going to NYC. Just wait. the Playhouse will have the show you want at a fraction of the price. The quality is as good if not better than Broadway. Just go

If you live anywhere near Ogunquit Maine, this is a must stop each summer. I recently made the trip from PA to see Billy Elliot. I was blown away with the theater, the production, and the area. The prices are reasonable for what really equates to a Broadway show. Having seen Billy Elliot on both Broadway and tour, I can... More
