Sailing was relaxing and the best way to start the vacation. We got to enjoy our trip with 4 of us and had a great time. The crew was knowledgeable and gave us info. About the area. Thanks for a great adventure see you next year.

What a marvelous way to spend a few hours on the water. The 42 foot Hinckley wood boat is beautiful and very well maintained (the oldest Hinckley wood sail boat still sailing). The Captain and his mate could not have been more gracious and friendly. A lot of fun especially if the wind is blowing.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Best sailing experience I've ever been on! Unforgettable...definitely a highlight of visit to Ogunquit, Maine. Though the schooner is 42", Captain Jack only takes out 6 passengers maximum. You get the feeling you are on a private charter. Captain Jack is very skilled, knowledgeable and friendly. He let Brian, his first mate take over and he sat with... More

We have been sailing with Captain Jack on the Silverlining almost every year for 15 years. The Silverlinging is beautiful and unbelievably maintained. Captain Jack is just an awesome guy and is extremely knowledgeable. He can answer any question you ask and he is just a joy to talk to. The sailing is always relaxing and we never want the... More

We took the 9:30 a.m. sail with our 3 year old son. He was a little scared to sail, but Captain Jack was so sweet with him that he calmed down. The sailboat is so gorgeous and sailing is so peaceful. We got to see some harbor porpoises and a seal which was great. The first mate, Elliot, gave our... More

Booked this trip for me and my husband. Such a treat. Sailing with a small group on a gorgeous wooden sailboat. We chose the sunset cruise, and opened a bottle of wine. It was so relaxing. Capt Jack is a wonderful host, very warm and personable, as was first mate Elliott. I highly recommend this relaxing, affordable sail if you're... More

The Silverlining is a beautiful, beautiful sail boat. It's a classic, built in 1939. Elegant. This excursion lasts two hours, but it just flies by. Captain Jack and his assistant Elliot are the perfect crew. The boat is only for 6 passengers and it's so relaxing. I wish we had had more time to spend because I know we would... More

My wife and I have sailed with Captain Jack twice. He is very professional but easy going and the sailboat is beautiful. Each time we did the 630 sail, which is peaceful and offers a great opportunity for sunset pictures. We also met some nice couples and enjoyed the conversation on the sails. This is also a good value to... More

What a wonderful way to spend the afternoon! My teenage son was a bit skeptical at first, in the end he said it was the highlight of our trip :) The captain is the owner, so he 1) knows what he's doing 2) cares that you're enjoying your trip. He has an easy manner and smile and answered every question... More

First of all, this sailboat, was absolutely gorgeous! Just seeing the 75-year old classic beauty come into harbor and dock at Perkins Cove was a sight to behold in and of itself. My husband and I booked a 2-hour sail on this afternoon. We were joined by 3 lovely ladies on a mother-daughter retreat. Our crew was completed by Jack,... More
