My husband and I are on our honeymoon and decided to go sailing to watch the sunset...so happy we did because it was so beautiful and a very fun experience! We had perfect sailing because we had nice rolling waves to enjoy :)

Captain Jack and his mate Alex are not only knowledgeable and friendly, they make you feel at ease. They are witty and fun, and above all----PROFESSIONAL! This trip is a must do! You Wont be disappointed! We saw porpoise, tuna and a HUGE variety of birds. We even ran into President Bush upon our return to the dock!

I've been going for sailing excursions on Silverlining for about 20 years. Captain Jack and his crew never fail to provide an unforgettable sailing experience. Friendly, intelligent conversation, warm humor, and gorgeous scenery, all set on a lovely, meticulously cared-for boat - it doesn't get any better than this. For the last several years my excursions have included my daughter,... More

This was by far the highlight of my summer. My sister and I surprised our mom for her birthday and booked the 6:30 sunset sail. The boat was stunning and the crew (Captain Jack and first mate Alex) were so incredibly friendly and I felt completely safe with them at the helm. Although the ship is large enough to completely... What better way to spend a couple of hours than on the ocean sailing on the Silverlining. Not too big of a vessel makes you feel very much a part of it. Quiet enough to hear the waves as you glide over each crest. The Captain is great and a lot of fun to talk with. You leave out of... More

I was visiting NH friends from Camp Se-Sa-Ma-Ca where we spent many summers a zillion years ago. Perhaps to commemorate my victory in the camp regatta on a day when there was no wind, they arranged a sail with Captain Jack on the Silverlining. We laughed and refrained from singing camp songs in favor of hearing about the adventures of... More

This is a must do activity while in Ongunquit. Captain Jack was super nice and Alex was just fun. We went for the 6:30 tour and it was just perfect. We have a 6 and 10 year old and they equally had a great time. Captain Jack even left our youngest steer the boat for a bit- which was a... More
