I was visiting NH friends from Camp Se-Sa-Ma-Ca where we spent many summers a zillion years ago. Perhaps to commemorate my victory in the camp regatta on a day when there was no wind, they arranged a sail with Captain Jack on the Silverlining. We laughed and refrained from singing camp songs in favor of hearing about the adventures of... More

This is a must do activity while in Ongunquit. Captain Jack was super nice and Alex was just fun. We went for the 6:30 tour and it was just perfect. We have a 6 and 10 year old and they equally had a great time. Captain Jack even left our youngest steer the boat for a bit- which was a... More

When people say this was the highlight of their trip to Ogunquit, they aren't kidding. My boyfriend and I did the 4:30 sail. It was our first time sailing, and his first time on a boat. We had such an amazing time. We brought a bottle of wine and walked around the boat a bit to take in the different... More

We sailed on the Silverlining in June, and this experience was a highlight on our 2-week trip across coastal Maine. The captain was very hospitable and professional. We brought some wine and cheese purchased in a shop in Ogunquit with us and watched the sun begin its descent as we sailed across the water. It was very peaceful, which was... More

Captain Jack always makes your sail aboard the Silverlining enjoyable and memorable! I've sailed with Jack many times and always look forward to going sailing on the Silverlining when visiting Ogunquit! Jack keeps the boat pristine and knows how to get the best sailing experience for his passengers from the perfect blend of the sun, wind and sea. Even if... More

This was my first time sailing, and Captain Jack and his shipmate Alex made the experience amazing. We did the mid day trip with gorgeous skies and strong winds. This a must do if you are in the area. I loved every minute of it. I will definitely be back of I am ever in Maine again. In addition, Jack... More

My extended family visited Ogunquit in June, 2015 staying in a house in Perkins Cove. Silverlinings departs from Perkins Cove, so it was very convenient. Six members of our group went out on Wednesday, and my group of four went out on Thursday. We all had an incredible experience sailing on this beautiful wooden sailboat. The captain was very knowledgable... More

Captain Jack will take you from Perkins Cove for a sail on the classic sailing yacht the "Silver Lining", that you and yours will enjoy and speak of often, most likely whenever you see one of those beautiful wooden boats the Maine coast is known for. I hear you can even be married aboard the Silver Lining by the Capt... More

This was a wonderful opportunity to get out for a relaxed sunset sail. My father and I both had a great time, and Jack was knowledgable about the area, accommodating, and easy-going. Although the sail was only 1.5 hours (as advertised), there was very little "down time" so the time actually sailing was maximized. Thank you for a great experience!

I would echo the other reviews. The captain is extremely bright and knowledgeable and freely shares as much or as little information about sailing, marine life, the ocean and other related subjects as you wish. The boat is wonderful and the overall experience was great.
