We have been enjoying Ogunquit and the surrounding area for 42 yrs. The local people are creative and friendly. The restaurants are exceptional. Our best time there is off season now that our kids are grown, when the crowds have gone back to school and there are no lineups for parking or restaurants. Perkins Cove is a great place to... More

My wife and I aren't huge beachgoers, but when we do decide to go to a beach, it's usually Ogunquit. We love the beautiful sand, long shoreline, and the quiet atmosphere there. The only downside, in our opinion, is the parking fee at the beach parking lot. It's $25/day, which seems a bit steep. Advice would be to either take... More

Love Ogunquit quit beach for the clear water BUT stay away at high tide as everyone is crowded up into a foot of sand near the rocks! Also the PARKING FEE of $25.00 is outrageous!! Leaves a bad taste ....it's just ripping off the tourists.

Beautiful place, packed in the summer! Traffic gets pretty bad and parking is expensive. Look for the Municipal Parking Lots. Marginal Way is a must!

We had planed to go to Old Orchard Beach but had heard of Ogunquit so wanted to see it before driving to OOB. We were so impressed we booked two nights here. We stayed at the Gorge Grant, it was great! The town center was busy with walkers. Parking is an issue so next time i will plan to stay... More

Very Quaint and well kept area. Parking is an issue, so prepare to walk a lot. It does have great waterfront trail and whole bunch of good eateries close by as well.

Right before our road trip through New England and eventually to Cape Cod, we were told about Ogunquit and decided to stay night here. Wish is could have stayed longer! Great little beach town!! Who knew?? Amazing beach, great vibe. Restaurants and shops are walking distance from beach. Would love to go back and stay longer!

what is cool besides the beauty is that the quartz and mica based sand is so hard packed that mothers can actually push their baby carriages along it without getting stuck. Rated the best beah in New England and it was evident why this is so. Loved loved loved it!
