Ogunquit Beach is the best beach I've ever visited. I love the contrast between the rocky coastline and the long stretch of sandy beach. I love that the entire beach isn't flanked by an endless line of hotels and shops, as some Atlantic coast beaches are. It's the ocean on one side, and dunes on the other. It's lovely.

Even though Ogunquit is overrun with tourists every summer there's always enough to do that keeps us coming back every year.

You can't go wrong here, the beach is very pleasant. Not as crowded as would have expected. It's not the warmest water, but it's a great day. Plenty of services a close walk. Trolleys, to get where you parked if you were at the cove, rest rooms, beach foods and shopping. Everything you would need for a beach day. I... More

This beach is the most serene and enjoyable beach I have ever been to in New England. The sand is white and smooth. It is very clean and well taken care of. You can walk the entire beach without any obstructions. There are a few shops and snack places a few steps from the sand and there is a hotel... More

This beach is the cleanest beach I have ever visited. Smoke free, litter free, family friendly, clean restrooms, life guards, parking, good ice cream too!

We have been enjoying Ogunquit and the surrounding area for 42 yrs. The local people are creative and friendly. The restaurants are exceptional. Our best time there is off season now that our kids are grown, when the crowds have gone back to school and there are no lineups for parking or restaurants. Perkins Cove is a great place to... More

My wife and I aren't huge beachgoers, but when we do decide to go to a beach, it's usually Ogunquit. We love the beautiful sand, long shoreline, and the quiet atmosphere there. The only downside, in our opinion, is the parking fee at the beach parking lot. It's $25/day, which seems a bit steep. Advice would be to either take... More

Love Ogunquit quit beach for the clear water BUT stay away at high tide as everyone is crowded up into a foot of sand near the rocks! Also the PARKING FEE of $25.00 is outrageous!! Leaves a bad taste ....it's just ripping off the tourists.
