We took advantage of a recent trip to the Camden area to participate in Cellardoor's monthly wine pairing event. May was Latin themed. We thought it would just be a few different wines but it was actually 4 or 5 food courses, as well. The food was excellent, both the Cellardoor staff as well as the pairing participants were a... We chose 4 tastes for free at the winery. The attendant/waitress gave the explaination for each of the wines she made it clear as to the taste of each one. We bought the perfect stanger and the grape flavored dessert wine...YUM! average prices for a winery. The layout of the place was well executed and we did not feel rushed... More

A wine tasting and tour at Cellar door was recommended to us through the inn where we were staying for an anniversary weekend. We arrived and were immediately stunned by the beautiful views from the tasting bar. Rachel, the young woman who led our tasting and our tour, was as bubbly in personality as she was full with knowledge about... More

We were here on a gorgeous, sunny day. The staff was super-friendly and helpful. After our tasting, we each got a glass of wine and snacks from their shop and sat on the rooftop deck overlooking the grounds. Beautiful view. It was a fantastic, memorable stop - so nice to slow down, unwind and just enjoy ourselves for a little... More

I can't say enough good things about Cellardoor Winery. The location offers some great views on the porch our out on the grounds, the facility is beautiful and my host for my wine experience was down to earth and very informative. This is a destination for everyone from casual drinker to wine enthusiast. What a great way to break up... More

The Cellardoor was a great surprise! Check their website for tour times. The shops were well stocked with interesting condiments, wine accessories, cheese and crackers, fruit spreads, sundae toppings, etc. The tasting area was large and there was no charge (up to a specified number of samplings). If you are going for a tour, I would arrive early and taste... More

Staff was great, wines which we chose were fine. Wish they had more food items which would definitely make this winery. Enjoyed the atmosphere, staff, building and the wines. A stop here is reommended.

I prefer sweeter wines to dryer, but several of my traveling companions are the opposite. Either way, all of us found something we could enjoy at least a glass of. The winery also sells jams inspired by their wines, which makes for a tasty mid-day treat. We sat on their deck overlooking large hills of growing grapes and beautiful colors... More

We visited the Cellardoor Winery during our first visit to Maine with family. It was such a surprise to drive along a two-lane country road, turn into a rather non-descript drive and see what was before us. That's when the jaw dropping began. It never ended, while walking through the place, enjoying the wine tasting, and sitting on the veranda... More

Our friends in Cushing recommended we stop here while in Rockland and wow, I really owe them one. The Tasting Room and attendant special events room and store are wonderfully detailed and decorated very smartly. The back deck, overlooking a few grape vines, a pond, rolling tree-lined hills and the mountains beyond, is a fantastic setting to enjoy a glass... More
