Honeymoon

My wife and I had a fantastic time on the Rugosa this past July. We recommend that you should take a tour and learn far more about lobsters than you ever thought about knowing.

We booked the tour in October 2013. It was on time, informative and fun. I would recommend this tour for anyone ages 2 to 99.

You will will learn so much from Captain Bob and Firstmate Kevin. They tell you everything you'd like to know about the lobster lifestyle. You will hold a lobster and learn how to distinguish a male from a female. You will be on the water to see how lobsters are caught. This is a fun-filled opportunity for all ages.

Thanks for the kind words in giving us a favorable review. We are always delighted to have people come away from one of our trips with an appreciation of lobsters and the men that work so hard fishing for them. We are so happy that you had a lot of fun and enjoyed our boat trip. That's what the Rugosa... More

This was everything we were hoping for, and more! So fun and educational. The captain and mate were extremely knowledgeable and professional, yet it was a fun and relaxed environment. We learned so much about the Maine lobster industry as well as all about lobsters -- how and what they eat, mate, swim, molt, shed their shell, etc. While they... More

I can't thank you enough for your generous comments about our lobster tour! We try to bring fun and interesting information your way about these amazing creatures of the sea. But the real fun lies with all of the people that join us for these tours. Matt and I feed off the positive, interested vibe that we receive from the... More

Captain and first mate are excellent. Tour is interesting and professionally done. As an adult I learned so much about lobsters and they're life cycle. Time well spent on this local attraction.

This is a wonderful, roughly hour and a half tour on a lobster boat. Our children ages 6-11 loved the hands on experience and we learned everything you need to know about lobsters!! The hosts were fantastic - Answered any and all questions you could have about lobsters and lobster fishing. Got to band, hold, and "play" with the lobsters.... More

Our family took the afternoon tour and loved it! We all learned quite a bit about our lobster friends while taking in the scenery from an angle you can't get onshore. Reservations were smooth and the crew was knowledgeable and fun. Our kids are late teens, but there were a few smaller kids onboard who all seemed to be having... More

This is a must-try experience for families and anyone else interested in the ocean. Our hosts, Matt and the Captain, provide a fully guided tour and hands-on lobster fishing experience. The tour is just the right length - about 75 minutes, and the hosts are wonderful with children and voyagers of all ages. These guys can answer any question that... More

We had a great time on the trip. We learned a lot and it was enjoyable watching children participate. Captain Bob and Matt were a wealth of knowledge. Would recommend anyone (who doesn't get seasick) to take the tour. We got to see the Bush house.

My husband and I and our 3 boys ages 14, 11, 9 took this tour in late July 2014 on a beautiful sunny day. As it is always breezy out on the water, I was glad we brought sweatshirts. Captain Bob and Matt were so personable and great with the kids. Very informative. The boat is small and accommodates just... More
