Beautiful walk

We have taken many walks on this trip. Thoroughly enjoyed this walk, especially seeing the shoreline. Fun to see the Bush family compound.

The view from Parson's Way is spectacular, overlooking the beach's, rocky coast and the river... Parking ( on the side of the road ) is limited so arrange the time of your visit accordingly.. There are bench's for sitting, or enjoying a lunch/picnic...A restaurant ( Striper's ) is at bottom of road for a lunch or drink .

Parson's Way is a nice alternative to Marginal Way in Ogonquit. The walk ends essentially at Walker Point (the Bush compound). It starts at Colony Beach, which is about a mile from Kennebunkport's Dock Square. You have to cross the toad once to follow the sidewalk. It's a bit more congested than Marginal Way as it is essentially along a... More

Beautiful place to take a stroll and enjoy the scenery. Bring a picnic lunch and just relax. We love to just sit and watch the ocean here.

The walk is well paved and the views are amazing! I felt very safe walking by myself. The route from the Nonantum is about 3 miles round trip.

Yes, the view was lovely, but so is the whole coast of Maine. It is simply a sidewalk right next to a very busy coastal route. You are breathing in exhaust fumes the whole walk, not the sea air. If you want a beautiful walk along with coast, go to the Marginal Way in Perkins Cove instead.

Scenic walk of the Maine coast...similar to the Marginal Way in Ogunquit, but not quite as nice or as long. The Bush compound is at the end of the walk...we could see Barbara in the driveway with her dog. There is a parking area near the end with a nice view of the Bush homes. Also, if the tide is... I can't add much to what others have said. It's easy to find a place to park the car, and do this lovely walk between the ocean and huge homes, Walker's Point, the Bush compound is right in front of you, and there are some wonderful old Inn's you can stay in.
