Want to know how Maine Lobsters are caught, we will show you how it’s done. The captain let us know this was not so much a guided tour but a scenic and... More

My husband and I went on a whale watch the first day of the season on a cool, windy day. We knew it would be cold on a boat and we were prepared with extra sweats and a blanket- it was still cold. Many other passengers on the boat were not prepared and were shivering in their leggings, sweatshirts, and... More

We went on a scenic lobster cruise on a calm, intermittently rainy morning and enjoyed seeing the Bush estate from the water, several species of basking and swimming seals and live lobsters. One crew member kindly brought the "catch" to the stern where my visually handicapped husband was seated to make sure he saw the lobsters up close and could... More

My husband and I were on our honeymoon and i really wanted to go on a whale watch. We had an amazing time and it was well worth the money. The crew went above and beyond the call of duty. Julie was amazing, and she showed true care for her customers. I have been known to get seasick and she... More

It was our first time ever going on a whale watch tour. The crew on the boat went above and beyond what we could have imagined. If you're thinking of a whale tour you can't lose with first chance. Their price was very reasonable and they tend to your every need just so you have a great experience. We seen... More

A real treat to view the harbor at Kennebunkport, see the Bush Estate, catch a couple of seals basking in the sun and learn how lobsters are harvested. You can even have a picture taken with the catch. The second mate, Winn, is a 5 year old chocolate lab. He runs a tight ship!

First Chance was excellent. The captain really does everything he can so you see whales and makes sure you get the full experience. We saw a lot the day we went and one got really close to the boat. The crew was amazing and was constantly making sure everyone was okay, they provided sun block, and the food was great... More

My partner and I thought we would give this a try after enjoying our Whale Watching Trip we had done in Dominican Republic. At $48. per adult it was significantly cheaper then our southern trip. I think we ended up about 20 miles from shore during which time we observed Minke Whales, a Fin Back Whale and most amusing was... More

A few weeks ago my sister and I decided to go whale watching while visiting Maine for our annual vacation. A few of my family members who live in Maine had mentioned that the best place to go was Kennebunkport to the First Chance Whale Watch. I looked up the phone number online and called the night before to reserve... More
