On a lovely summer morn in July, we took a two hour cruise on the Schooner Eleanor. This was easily the best activity we had in town. It is an easy, wonderful way to see and enjoy the Maine coastline and get a great breeze. The two hours just flies by. The Eleanor heads north past Walker's Point a ways... More

This trip should be REQUIRED for anyone who loves boats or water. This 2 hour cruise is simply amazing. Not only is Captain Rich a very experienced Captain, he actually built this beautiful vessel. He and his crew will answer any question about anything related to KPT or the schooner or they will just leave you alone. Pack a cooler... More

Not what we were expecting, but ultimately a very relaxing experience. The ship was gorgeous and we appreciated learning about the captain's experience in building the vessel. We were expecting more of a "history" or dialogue of what we were passing (Walker Point, church, lobstering, etc); however, if questions were asked, the crew was happy to answer. Would we go... This 2 hour windjammer cruise was lots of fun. We had a sunny day and getting out on the water was wonderful. We sailed past Walker Point (Bush estate) and other impressive private estates. You can help raise the sails if you like, or just enjoy sailing with someone else doing all the work.

Six friends reserved seating on the 11 am cruise out of propose cove, kennebunkport maine. The schooner Eleanor was a smooth fantastic ride. With the sails wide to the wind, we rode the coast of Maine. The cruise was magnificent, lasting 2 hours. The captain and crew friendly and gracious! Binoculars, blankets, and comfy seats all around the schooner. Great folks,... More

Hoss is boss! He's also the captain's dog who loves to sail. We've gone on two sails with them last summer. It's a relaxing way to take a trip on the river,to the Atlantic and then view Walker's Point. Enjoyed talking with the crew, relaxing in the sunshine and having a fun sailing trip with my husband. Can't wait to go... More

We really enjoyed sailing up the coast of Kennebunkport, ME and seeing all the coast line and former president Bush's Kennebunkport home. The Captain was great and answered any questions the we all had. When we return to Kennebunkport, we will be looking up the Schooner Eleanor again! I only wish the cruise lasted longer than two hours...

I was lucky enough to be able to go out on Eleanor's last trip of the season. The weather was kind and the views stunning. The crew were excellent hosts and Eleanor sails beautifully and silently.

Captain Rich Woodman and his crew make this a very enjoyable time. We have done both the afternoon and evening salings. Both are wonderful, but Hoss (the boat dog) does not do the evening sailing. This year we did the afternoon sailing. Captain Rich knows a great deal about boats, sailing and Kennebunkport. There is water aboard as well as... More

So folks, I'm not sure if this is an accurate review, but I just wanted to pass along our thoughts about the Schooner Eleanor which we saw sailing elegantly past Walkers Point two Thursdays ago while staying in the area. We drove to the dock , but the night sail that evening and the next two sails the following day... More
