First time on a sailing boat and won't be our last. Captain and crew very helpful and informative - a relaxing way to spend a couple of hours seeing the coastline.

Totally unplanned day...called last minute and luckily there was a cancellation. They only take 20 ppl out. Crew members were low key, pleasant. You could tell they enjoy their work. Perfectly smooth sail out by Walkers Point, Bumpkin Island and Goat Island. You can BYOB and any other food you like to snack on. Waters are provided as well as... More

We sailed on the Eleanor with another family and had a wonderful experience. The Captain and Crew are professional, friendly and truly want each guest to have a nice experience. They provide bottled water, blankets and even binoculars. At one point my young son needed to use the restroom and they were easily able to accommodate that in their lavatory... More

This was such a great thing to do in Kennebunkport! Really gives you the feel for the area. It is a 2 hour sail and it is VERY reasonably priced-great value. The Schooner Eleanor is located right in town which makes it convenient. The staff and captain are very laid back making it relaxing and enjoyable. If you have the... More

We had a great two hour sailing experience with Captain Rich and his well informative crew! A beautiful way to spend the afternoon at sea and on a schooner no less! Bottled water and binoculars are available on board, but they welcome you to bring your own food and/or beverage, which is a plus. Definitely recommend this excursion!

This is a very low key sailing experience with a really nice crew in board. The water was rough so the trip was cut short by a half hour but the captain also lowered the fare which was more than fare. They have blankets, binoculars and water on board. Definitely worth the $$. They also allowed us to park our... More

Captain Rich and his crew sail a wonderful schooner that was restored by the captain himself. Our 2 hour tour was shortened by some threatening weather but no one minded as we experienced the beauty of the Maine coast from the deck of this beautiful schooner. Even the ship's dog, Hoss, made quite a few friends as he sailed along... More

We went out on the Eleanor's first official sail of the 2013 season, and because it was mid-May, the wind off the ocean was bracing! The captain warned us before we set sail that he might cut the two-hour trip short if it looked like people were getting too cold, which he did in fact do. Despite the shorten time,... More

Beautiful schooner built by the captain. Very inexpensive for a 2 hour sail. Fabulous way to see the coastline. The captain and crew were friendly and informative. There are binoculars and blankets on board if it gets chilly and water is provided. You can bring on any snacks or drinks that you like. There is also a bathroom on board... More

We wanted a relaxing sail around Kennebunkport and were so happy we decided to take the Eleanor Schooner with Captain Rich. The weather was lovely and we loved being able to sit close to the captain and ask him all about Kennebunkport. Don't forget to bring your own wine - it was nice to sail with a glass of wine... More
