It's OK if all you want to do is watch the water. Forget about swimming, to cold. The beach sand is damp and the tide comes up high so watch your stuff or you'll be doing the polar plunge to retrieve them. Sorry NE'ers I like my southern beaches better.

Love the wide expanse of the beach; we've met some lovely dog owner's during our early morning walks with our dog.

This is a great beach for families, couples, solo travelers and kids. I was visiting family who live in Kennebunkport and was able to spend an afternoon at Kennebunk Beach. While my cousins (10 and 13) were playing in the water, I was able to sit back and relax on the beach and catch some rays. Everyone had a good... More

Hard to find a place to park so if you stay in the area and can walk, try to do that. At low tide the beach is EXPANSIVE but that really changes when the tide is in. If you want to walk and hang out for a bit, plan to go at the lower tide points.

Access is fairly easy; parking right along the beachfront. The beach gradually dips down; super for young kids. Clean.

This is a wonderful open beach that is dog friendly. Everytime we are in Kennebunkport. We stop here ! Evening time is excellent.

I used to jog on this beach every morning. Only downfall is when the tide comes in, there is barely any sand....water comes up to the wall just about. It is kind of funny watching everyone moving their towels and gear back up on the sidewalk. Kids love this place playing on the rocks though!

It is a nice beach with parking on the street. Especially on the weekends you have to come early to find a parking spot. We visited in June, thus, the water was too cold for us to get in.

We enjoyed our walk on this wonderful beach. It is very well kept up and the dog walkers take good care of their dogs. The locals all know one another and we enjoyed walking with our friends.

A nice beach though gets smaller as the tide comes in. Need parking pass and it can be hard to find a spot on a nice day. A little easier off season. And the water is cold!
