It was a great walk, my kids that they could win, you can but it's a little cold. Great place to skip rocks.

We love to walk this long, sandy, pretty beach and then sit on the breakwater at the entrance of the harbor to see the varied traffic come and go. When 5 pm arrives, dog lovers can enjoy a parade of pooches, all of which seem to get along just great. People are friendly too, and it's a pretty place to... More

We did not visit the beach but the little town of Kennebunk Port. What a lovely place. Great boutiques with quality goods. Nice little restaurants, beautiful town place. Great way to spend a wonderful afternoon.

We enjoyed our visit to Kennebunk Beach. We especially enjoyed the shops at Kennebunkport, just a short walk over the bridge.

A bright spring day greeted us as we walked along the breakers on our way to see some old mansions...well worth the day.

Great spot for photography. It was a very cold and windy day when we were there so it hampered out visit somewhat but we still got excellent shots. The homes in this area are historic and epic. So much to see and do. Love this place.

Traveling makes you wiser. I did not know that Kennebunk and Kennebunkport was two towns separated by a waterway and a small bridge. You must see both villages. They are scenic, interesting, historic and friendly. Park the car, get out and walk around. You'll be glad you did.

What to expect in the cold? It was pleasant to walk along the beach, plenty of parking. For those who collect seaweed for gardens, there was sufficient to "take home" - (but only on your way home -- you don't want the pungent odor in your car DURING your vacation.)
