An excellent stretch of New England beach with on-street parking. The street is lined with beautiful old Kennebunkport homes which reak of prominence and wealth. On a clear day with the sailboats in the background, it is postcard perfect. The beach is surrounded by sidewalk areas making it a great place to take a stroll.

Spectacular views, nice waters, plenty of beach for everyone. Good for surfin, suntanning, running. Early morning offers quiet peace for beach yoga

Kennebunk Beach consists of 3 beaches - Mother's, Middle, and Gooch's. Mother's Beach is perfect for young children with only small waves. This beach is small with limited paid parking. There are no facilities other than Porta Potties. Middle Beach is rocky with no sand, and has no facilities. Gooch's Beach is beautiful with soft sand and plenty of shells... More

Watching the sun rise over Kennebunkport Beach is a treat! The crescent beach is great early in the morning, and the views are excellent.

Dog-friendly after 5. Friendly people. Lots of space at low tide, so time things accordingly. Nice size waves for the surfers and flat, wide beach for the skim-boarders at low tide. you may have parking issues.

Busy but plenty of room. Lots of families enjoying both beach and sea. Parking difficult but achievable.

Spent part of a lovely afternoon watching the waves roll in. Very relaxing. We were on the far side of the beach (left side when facing the ocean). Despite the sweltering temperatures it was not crowded and plenty of available free parking.

Sand was hard by shore and easy to walk on and watch the dogs play as the sun set over the water. Parking was easier late in the evening and the view of the Kennebunk River and Ocean at sunset are outstanding.

We spent a lovely 5 hours at this beach. Parking was a little tricky even with a resident's pass. No restrooms or showers, but the beach was very clean. Water was too cold for us New Yorkers, but we enjoyed watching the surfers (in wetsuits!)

If you're looking for the quintessential Maine beach that is long enough for a nice stroll in the morning or after dinner this is it. Parking can be a problem but well worth the search.
