Great beach for family, kids, friends, couples or just to sit and relax. Flat beach with good walking. Small waves, life guards on duty, parking is pay by the hour via kiosk. Great beach to just sit and relax!

This must be how Kennebunk is able to pay for snowplowing in the winter. For $20, you could park near Fenway Park in Boston, and for $20 you can park until 11p.m. at Gooch's Beach, even if you only want to stay for an hour or two. Overall the beach is clean, but it is also next to a so-called... More

It says you need a permit and to pay for parking but evidently they are one in the same. We just wanted an hour or so on the beach but parking is daily and $20. The beach is pretty though!

Great Waves! Check out a surfing lesson at Aquaholics! The best! Easy parking, good room to walk at low tide, nice and clean

At first glance there is nothing particularly spectacular about this beach. The sand, though white and powdery, isn't as fine as other beaches and has quite a bit of rocks in it. Furthermore, there's also a hefty amount of dried seaweed on the beach. However, it's somewhat expansive and has gorgeous views of the pretty houses on either end which... More

A family favorite--the beach is easy to get to, never a problem parking, and always something to do. We like to stroll the beach down to the jetty and then jump into the surf and walk down towards the point near the Narragansett

There is nothing I didn`t like about this beach, that`s why I go back every summer! It`s clean, it`s safe and the views are just fantastic! My family and I always long for the winter to go by fast so that we can be on the beach!

Very nice little beach off the beaten path. Limited parking so get there early. Little bit rocky but it is Maine. Great view of the river activity.

This beach is a great beach to casually go walking although it is not miles and miles long. The beach can vary depending on the season and month with rocks abounding, seaweed, or smooth as can be. We have found beautiful sea glass and kids treasure them! When it is low tide THIS is where the treasures can be found... More

Of course this is a beautiful beach, with picturesque homes and sailboats everywhere. I agree with a previous writer that the main problem is that the beach virtually disappears at high tide. Best to check the tidal charts and visit with the tide is out. Make sure you have a parking permit and don't forget to figure out a way... More
