There is nothing I didn`t like about this beach, that`s why I go back every summer! It`s clean, it`s safe and the views are just fantastic! My family and I always long for the winter to go by fast so that we can be on the beach!

Very nice little beach off the beaten path. Limited parking so get there early. Little bit rocky but it is Maine. Great view of the river activity.

This beach is a great beach to casually go walking although it is not miles and miles long. The beach can vary depending on the season and month with rocks abounding, seaweed, or smooth as can be. We have found beautiful sea glass and kids treasure them! When it is low tide THIS is where the treasures can be found... More

Of course this is a beautiful beach, with picturesque homes and sailboats everywhere. I agree with a previous writer that the main problem is that the beach virtually disappears at high tide. Best to check the tidal charts and visit with the tide is out. Make sure you have a parking permit and don't forget to figure out a way... More

Special off-leash times make walks with pups a ton fun. Watch boats come out of the harbor, splash your feet around in mostly calm waves, look for sea shells, check out the little pools between the rocks for small crabs, and simply sit back and relax on the sand. The board-walk is great if you don't want sandy feet or... More

My best time here is walking the expansive beach with my feet in the water. The first reaction is how cold the water is. But as you walk, your toes warm up. Everyone is friendly on the beach. There are no radios. Families, couples, and solos respect others space. All you hear is just the quiet of the ocean as... More

Very nice, clean, well-maintained beach. Parking is tough to find. Beach is open for dog walking before 9am and after 5pm.

Kennebunk and Kennebunkport area are not interested in daily visitors to their beaches outside of their own residents. You must buy a permit ($15 a day for non-residents) in order to park on any street in these towns that is near any of the beaches. The only place you can buy a permit is the own Hall or a store... This is a huge beach and probably the most popular in Kennebunk (NOT Kennebunkport which is a different town). It is the best beach for people watching, swimming and based on the number of surfers sitting on still waters, surfing. The only problem is that most of the beach disappears at high tide. If you plant your blanket at the... More

According to locals this is the best place to surf. There is scarcely any beach when the tide is high, but the beauty of the scenery and the surrounding is worth seeing.
