A beautiful setting that makes you feel like you've been transported into your own little world even though just seconds before you were in traffic among the rest of humanity ;) A sanctuary for meditation.
We attended the Prelude at the monastery and it really brought back the magic of christmas. The decorations and candle lit carolling is the true magic of christmas!
It is okay....I remember a lot of older times there and it was always beautiful and peaceful...the church inside is beautiful to see!! Time for peace. the walkway is good but you do have to be careful
The trees were Changing and the grounds were Lovely. We highly recommend everyone to go visit. Very Peaceful and alot of wildlife to see. The Statues were stunning. The view from the path was lovely.
Beautiful grounds with a scenic trail to the river and spots to sit and meditate on the wonders of nature, along with a sacred quiet, make this a favorite place to visit
Our friends drove us back into St. Anthony's and I'm glad they did. Very beautiful setting and very quiet for walks and meditation if you wish. The outside chapel is very beautiful!
St.Anthony's is a wonderful place to stroll along the river, across from the hustle and bustle of Kennebunkport and its crowded shoppers! This site is a very quite and peaceful walk and a place to reflect. The walk brings you out to the harbor, and along the way there are places to sit pray and reflect. The cost...free
If you take the Trolley tour from town, it does a driveby through the parking area passing the main building and the grotto. If all you want is a quick look here and/or want to see alot of the Kennebunks in a short amount of time then take the Trolley tour.
