I loved coming here when I lived in the area! You can walk around this place for hours and not get bored. A neat gazebo at the very end of the path overlooking the water.

The surroundings are very nice. Open air chapel. Unfortunately, we were there on a Sunday morning. So, too many people visited at the same time. Would visit again if back to the area.

We were pleased to be able to visit this monastery. The setting is magnificent and the walking trails are splendid. The small gift shop has ample things to buy as souvenirs. It is nice that the monastery is open for visitors.

We stopped here to visit the monastery and enjoyed the beautiful and peaceful grounds. We had a lovely walk around the grounds and were blessed by the calm beauty of this place.

We absolutely loved visiting this monastery. We easily biked over from our hotel in town. We attended Mass on Sunday and Monday--both beautiful services. The grounds here are incredible--absolutely beautiful flowers and trees. Wear walking shoes so you can explore the trails behind the chapel and gift shop. Many lovely spots for prayer and meditation. We'll be back!

Being Catholics it was interesting to see the shrines, etc. However they need some help cleaning and fixing up, hope they can find someone to help in the area.

A relaxing place for a stroll with a nice gift shop. The relics associated with Stations of the Cross and the outdoor Chapel are fasinating.

Curious about the monastery, we were very surprised with what we found. The chapel, grounds, statuary and atmosphere are stunning and peaceful. The artwork and decor were much more modern than expected ... Just beautiful. We are so glad we didn't skip it!

My husband and I were pretty disappointed overall with the Kennebunks, but this monastery saved the day trip. It's a peaceful place that offered a beautiful, if short, walk around scenery that will inspire the spiritual.

I'm glad my husband turned the car around to see this place. It was extra special since it was Mother's Day. We visited the grotto and the church. We lit candles for our mothers and spent some time in reflection. Next time I would spend more time walking around the grounds, other people commented there was more to see. This... More
