Is it cold? Yes!!! Are you warm inside? Yes! Caroling with people from not only the community of Kennebunkport, but all over the world, brings a sense of peace and joy in the wonderful setting

In and out in 20 minutes. Very small chapel with some interesting stained glass. Good coastal view from the parking area. Nothing to do, just check out an old chapel.

Being European, you expect a Franciscan monastery to be really old. This was Hammer Horror era, and steeped in very traditional Catholicism. Excellent if you know what to expect, I'm sure.

Take an hour or two and stroll around the grounds and trails of the property. There are some nice architectural elements to view and photograph.

This is a hidden gem of Kennepunkport as mentioned. You would never know what is behind this place unless you took a walk. It backs up to the Kennebunkport Harbor/Marina and we have taken many beautiful pictures here. I would say they do need to trim the paths along the sidewalk a little more but overall it's worth the wonder.... More

I didn't expect to love this place the way I did. What a treasure this was. And you don't have to be religious to appreciate it. There is a short trail that takes you across several statues like Fantima, St. Francis and The Lourdes Grotto. It is very peaceful and serene here. You also walk along a river (bay?) which... More

Regardless of your religious affiliation a walk thru the property is so peaceful and beautiful. Such a peacefulness as you meander through the walking paths. If you have an opportunity as we did attend Mass in the chapel for a wonderful spiritual experience.

dated, nothing special about it. Not worth it unless you have a religious reason to visit. The chapel is not particularly nice, just average.
