Can see why the Bush family love this location. We came by to see the compound from the road-side and we not surprised to see fellow-tourists looking intently in case the family was in residence and gave us a view. Actually, the distance is not very far and when Barbara and Laura were seen in the garden just outside the... More

Very cool to visit a place where Presidents, Dignitaries, Socialites and others have been. Knowing that two presidents have vacationed here, and at least one other president (Clinton) has visited makes this place special. Worth the little drive to see if you are in the area.

Lovely drive past beautiful, luxurious homes overlooking the ocean. There is a place where you can pull off the road and park long enough to get out of the car and take photos of the Bush Compound. The view from this vantage point on the cliff is quite lovely. If there are too many cars at the first pull-off, stay... More

We rode our bikes up to the chapel area and the view is outstanding. The history of the church was incredible. Highly recommend visiting.

Stunning views from the point. Make sure you take the time to visit the chapel located on the point. All stone and carved wood it is an impressive piece of work. Note the large stones taken from the shore and their smoothness.

My wife and I were staying in downtown Kennebunkport, ME a few weeks ago for a family reunion. We asked the resort concierge for a taxi service to take us to the Wells Amtrak station, as our family ride had left the previous day. We were thankful that she contacted HydiDrive to get us to the train station! We had... More

I have seen pictures of Walker's Point, but they do not do the actual view justice! The day we were there the Bush compound was very busy-secret service out on their boat following A Bush boat. There is a place for cars to pull over and take pictures or just look. Watching the waves crash and spray on the point... More

Beautiful view. Clear sky's and perfect weather. The waves on the rocks around Walkers Point were breathtaking. I even got a shot of a nearby sailboat. Worth the drive to see. People in the town were very friendly. I would visited again.

Take the drive along Ocean Avenue, just north of Kennebunkport and you will see Walker's Point. There's a pull-out on the side of the road where you can get a nice view of the compound. It's less than 5 minutes outside of town. This is an interesting and beautiful home.
