If you are don't live near the ocean and are a Bush (Sr) or Barbara fan, it is a great place to stop and take pictures. As I have lived either on or within a mile of the ocean for years, the view is similar to home, however, the history and the compound itself is enjoyable.

My wife and I drove by to see the Bush compound on Walkers Point. Looks like a nice place from afar, wish we could have seen it close up though.

While the main area of Walker's Point (the Bush compound) is closed and heavily guarded, the areas around it have some of the best ocean views you'll find anywhere. There's a wonderful lookout area with public parking along Shore Rd./Ocean Ave. just northeast of Walker's Point. Definitely worth a stop for some beautiful ocean views and a little bit of... More

A beautiful place in Maine. Not so hard to find, you must go with no rush. The view worth it. Unfortunatelly it's almost impossible to have a coffee with the Bush family.

It was fun to see the vacation spot of #41 and #43. You hear about the POTUS's (former) special places and if you are in the area, it's fun to take a look if you can. I would not plan a day around it, but if in the area, take a look. You will see many beautiful homes along the... More

Make no special plans around this place but when in the neighborhood. .....drive by. But do not stop in the driveway or go up to the guard house. You might be questioned and your afternoon blown. Striking and spartan at the same time.

This was great to see and a few good lay-bys to pull into to see it from a few different angles. Someone was preparing to leave the house as we were looking over

While you do not get very close, maybe 200-300 yards, there are telltale signs if the President or his family are there because of the flags on the pole by the main house. Interesting to see a true family compound with the newest house having only been added in the last couple of years. Will be neat to return to... More

When you ride from Kennebunkport to Walkers Point you see many great places along the way to eat or stay at but you also see great coast line. Then you reach Walkers point you see dramatic coast line everywhere you look. The Presidents house at Walkers Point is an old turn of the century home that has a lot of... More
