lovely setting

Year round this place is beautiful; though it is easier to traverse when 41 and 43 are somewhere else. That can cause traffic; and some delays - but nothing terrible.

A very scenic area. There is seating and parking. You can take pictures of the Bush compound and big sailboats passing

This compound is very optically pleasing, and is a nice spot for quiet contemplation. There is a little parking area for a handful of cars, which is always full of folks taking photos. There is still a guardhouse at the entrance, of course, and entrance is forbidden. Interesting how the influence of George H.W. is still felt after all these... More

Granted, things have calmed down since there's no Bush in office at the moment, but hanging around on the side of the road looking at someone else's gorgeous place, while traffic whizzes behind you is not my idea of fun. Since most presidential residences are hidden or gated, perhaps the location (striking and stuck out in the sea) is worthy... More

Although you can't get very close to Walker's Point, the city has provided turn outs where you can stop and take pictures of the Bush's estate. Gorgeous place!!!

This is a beautiful spot along the Maine coast, and President Bush's home is impressive, mostly due to its incredible setting. The drive along Ocean Drive offers some amazing views. St. Ann's Church is very nearby and is also worth visiting.

Decided to take a detour while in the area to see this. Glad we did. Parking area is very very very small but we went later in the day and on a cloudy day so we did get a spot but it was the last one. You can climb down on the rocks which my kids enjoyed. Also had a... More

Didn't vote for any of em but hey they got that Texas flag flying high up here in Kennebunkport, ME. There is an area to stop and sit or take pictures. The drive is gorgeous along Ocean Ave. Stop along the way and enjoy the sitting areas.
