We were visiting in Portland, ME (leaf peepers), and decided to take some time to visit Kennebunkport, ME. It was a beautiful drive, and there were some areas to pull off of the road to take pictures of Walker's Point. While this was the main reason for a journey to Kennebunkport, I would highly recommend this as an outing in... More

This is a must-see stop along Ocean Avenue, with spectacular views of the rocks, the ocean, and of course the Busch estate. The scenic stop on Ocean Avenue directly across from the estate is large and even with plenty of cars, there is plenty of room for people to stop and take pics. We even climbed a bit down the... There is a nice pull-off on Ocean Ave where you can stop to see and photograph the Bush summer home on Walker's point. Take a minute to see the windmill, boat dock, Texas and US flags as well as the beautiful residence of Bush 41 as he is affectionately known in Kport.

There is a place to pull off, and a great area for taking photos. Although if you go in the morning the bush house will look like a shadow in your photos.

Nice view of the summer home of the Bush's. Lovely place on a point on the Atlantic. There is parking on a point across from house so you can pull over and take pics

This is a must see for the drive alone as well as the beautiful vantage point. Start at Dock Square and take a right onto Ocean Ave, to see the most magnificent stretch of coastline that Maine has to offer. You'll pass elegant homes and resorts on the way like the Nonantum, the reakwater Inn and Spa, and the Colony... More

I'm always in awe of this beautiful compound and have always daydreamed about what it must be like to actually live here. It is such a neat place and being associated with two U S Presidents, it is even more intriguing. I think it is wonderful that we can actually see the place from the road-- it is inspiring.

Very enjoyable stopping off or starting point if your walking Or driving Ocean Ave. Beautiful views of the Ocean with equally impressive views of the Bush homestead. Not much parking and can be tough getting in and out of the small parking area but still a must see.

I can certainly see why the Bush compound was built there. The view of the ocean and shoreline is absolutely beautiful. It is amazing to me that you can actually see the Bush compound across the cove. Very fun to see!

I include the stone church in this review. It is historic, quaint, open and welcoming. obviously set up for oceanfront weddings, as well. The home church for the Bush family, it is a must-see.
