We're looking around the area for various reasons. Mostly Moose... It was my Birthday and we thought we'd do this short cruise. It was fantastic, food was great, and the scenery is beyond description on Moosehead Lake. Maine is just flat out beautiful! The Captain and crew were more than knowledgable and friendly. He had many kids steering the boat... More

We took the 3 hour cruise on the Katahdin on Moosehead Lake. It was lots of fun and each of us even got a turn steering the big boat. We also asked for and got a tour of the engine room, which was very fascinating for my husband. The crew was very knowledgeable about the area and answered lots of... More

Cruising on the Katahdin on Moosehead Lake gives you a whole new perspective of the immensity and history of this great lake. Family and friends went during "Fly In Weekend" in early September when float plaes come from all over to show off their planes and test their skills. Viewing all the activitity from the Katahdin added to the experience.

I took the eight hour cruise at during the foliage. I did not see any wildlife but I saw one unbelievable view after another. I am so grateful I chose to take this cruise. Great photographs and memories.

Historical and inviting, this boat ride on the Kate is a great family group activity appropriate for all ages. Can get up and move around on the boat, tour the engine room, and enjoy narrative content from the Captain. In the fall the mountain side color is beautiful. The 3 hour tour in my opinion is plenty long to take... More

What a great thing to do when visiting! The ship was great, piloted by a great captain who is extremely knowledgable of the area and narrates your cruise. The ship is a floating piece of history, a very relaxing 3 hour cruise for a reasonable price. The crew is very friendly and more than willing to tell you all about... More

This was a beautiful 3 hour boat ride on Moosehead Lake. We traveled all over the Lake and got to see all the Islands scattered all over the Lake. We even got to see a Bald Eagle!! The Captain gave a nice talk on the history of the area. Nice little cafe for a bite to eat. We visited the... More

This is a wonderful boat trip on the lake. The captain is a born and raised Greenville lad who shares the history of the area. He also has great stories and descriptions of Mossehead lake's colorful past. There are refreshments on board including hot clam chowder. Check the limited schedule before you drive into town. The excursion is a seasonal... More
