Jessica at Northeast Whitewater is the best. She put my fears at ease regarding the moose safari in a canoe. She put me in the canoe with our guide, Ethan. What a nice young man. He is wonderful at his job and certainly knows where to look for moose. We were about out of time and he spotted one clear... More

This was our first experience whitewater rafting. A perfect choice for our family vacation with our two older teens. We took the ride on the Kennebec as a couple of us were a bit nervous for the bigger challenge on the Penobscot. This was a wonderful introduction to this activity. We hope to go again, next time for the bigger... More

Don't forget you can stay at Indian Hill Motel just across the street in Greenville. It is an old fashioned, super clean motel with a really nice TV and really nice view. I have done the moose safari and whitewater rafting and have found all the staff to be friendly and capable. We saw 6 or 7 mooses (?) in... More

We had a fantastic time on our safari. Our guide Ethan was wonderful. He was knowledgable, kept us all safe and made everyone comfortable. We had a long ride in a van to the lake but it was worth every minute. We canoed out into the lake and were lucky enough to see a young buck and an older one... More

We rafted on the Kennebec River in late July. The trip was awesome and our guide, Dylan, was amazing! I will confess to being nervous asbout the trip, but the professionalism and knowledge of our guide made the trip fun and exciting. Everyone from Jess & Jeremy in the office, to Gary the bus driver and the entire group of... More

While the drive to the pond where we saw 3 moose was longer than expected, it was worth every minute. The guide was wonderful. His excitement permeated throughout the group. While he does this day after day, he enjoyed it as if it was his first time. The moose were AWESOME.

We went on a moose safari in Greenville and saw two moose. It left at 5 PM and got back about 9 PM. We traveled many 'roads' in the woods in a van and walked down to the lake a few times. The guide was very nice and took special measures to accommodate a person in our party that had... More

We rafted with Northeast Whitewater rafting on the Kennebeck River in mid-August. Family of 5 ( 3 teenagers). We had a blast! We all agreed that we would highly recommend this company. Our guide, Bourne, was terrific- very experienced and an overall great guy. Jessica took our reservation and was so pleasant to work with. We also stayed at the... More

Took the family to Maine to go Whitewater Rafting and had a blast! Jessica and Jeremy made us feel soooo welcome and spent the time with us to make sure we had all of our questions answered and then some. You're not a number with Northeast Whitewater! Out guide Brandon was as capable as they come. He knew every nook... More

Right from the start (walking across the road from the Indian Hill Motel), the staff were friendly and helpful, and kitting up was very easy. The ride in Gary's bus seemed surprisingly short, considering it's an hour to the river. There isn't much waiting around, as the NGS team give comprehensive safety briefings, so you know exactly what to expect... More
