If you want an unpretentious family-friendly skiing experience, this is it. No fancy amenities, just loads of snow and no crowds. The lodges are 1970s style, filled with local kids, good old hot chocolate and soup, nothing gourmet or overpriced. Unfortunately the upper chairlift to the summit is closed for repair, because there lie some of the more challenging black... more
