We enjoyed walking the beach and climbing the trails to the viewing camera. Be sure to bring you quarters to use the viewing camera.

We had a wonderful time on the beach with friends. It was hot enough to enjoy the cold water, so everyone swam. When the tide was falling, we all rode the tidal current out of the salt pond, out to the sand bar. It was a blast!

The only thing we did not like was that there were no Full RV hook ups so we could stay there and enjoy the area.

After dining at five island lobster, we drove over to Reid. It is very close by, and if you are visiting, and found five island lobster, you will find this easy also. It is a state park with trails that lead down to the beach. There are 2 sides, both rocky so be careful going down to the beach. There... More

Reid state Park is beautiful from beginning to end! There are lots of picnic areas with grills. The bathhouses are close to the beaches. The beaches are gorgeous and clean! It is certainly a must see. Penny at the Mooring B&B has great history to tell about the park as well!

This midcoast state park is a can't miss. Beaches, roses, grass, convenient bath houses, lots of picnic tables and plenty of areas to enjoy walking, sitting and/or picnicking.

First, I must say how amazing the views on both sides of this park are. The ocean views of the rough rocks and crashing waves were something only out of pictures to me until my visit to Reid State Park. The flats on the other side of the park were perfect for kayaking (which I participated in). The water was... More

When I was in the area in October I stopped by after having lunch at 5 Lobster. Since it was October not all services and amenities were open, which might be entirely different in the summer months. It was a nominal fee and there were some little trails with pleasant views on the idyllic Maine scenery, but I fail to... More

I have been going to this beach since I was little. I have always loved that there is so much to do. You can walk or sit on the beach. Or you can explore the rocks around the bridge seeing what type of sea creatures you can find. And plenty of places to have a BBQ picnic. During our trip... More

A beautiful and relaxing beach, Reid State Park is someplace our family returns to whenever we have time. Although it is pricy (I feel) to enter and park, this beach has wonderful amenities and a very tranquil atmosphere. The beach is clean and well maintained. A perfect spot for flying kites, exploring tide pools, walking trails, climbing rocks and having... More
