Nice Beach. Lots of tide pools to explore. But the Sea Gulls are the most aggressive I have seen! They took a lady's towel and then went back for the chips. We couldn't walk the beach together because they were coming in for our styrafoam picnic basket covered with a rock. Friendly staff. Friendly vacationers. Clean restrooms and change houses.... More

The only downfall is that you have to pay to experience the park. Otherwise, the park itself is big and ample with a sandy coastline. You can lie on the beach, swim in the waves or climb on the rocks. It was the perfect place to capture some memorable pictures.

We spent a few hours here and still didn't see everything. Both beaches were beautiful and easy to access. Got lots of great wildlife pictures. I will be back for more hiking.

Such a fantastic place to visit while you are on the Maine coastline. The "ports" get all the glitz and glamour attention but the beach at Reid is really the gem of the area.

We went to the beach and park several times during the winter due to the snowy owl invasion. This beach and park are beautiful and clean and represent the best of Maine during the winter it is a great place to walk your dog.

The rugged Maine coast is incomparable. There are rocks to climb on, a wide beach to walk, it is full of the marvelous power of the Northeast coastline. It was warm in town today but quite a bite in the air. Bring extra layers just in case. Very windy.

I lived in Georgetown about three miles from Reid State Park for over two years. As the mother of 6 children myself and having fostered MANY others over my lifetime, I HIGHLY recommend this park and the beaches there for families. I love the series of smaller beaches for the little ones. It makes it so easy to have play... More
