A nice little shop with locally made jewelry, art work, etc., at reasonable prices. Quite small, but I found a few gifts. A beautiful blue lobster in a tank at the back.

If so, you will find that the Salty Lobster is an oasis. Everything in the store is Maine-made and... More

Eclectic and fun, The Salty Lobster is an experience to savor. Take your time and smell all the Maine-made soy candles. Hold the earrings up to your lobes. Page through the children's books. All the items for sale in the little store on the corner (and down the steps) are made with care by Maine artists and artisans. Don't forget... More

Thanks for support local Maine Artists. I'm glad you were able to fully enjoy all aspects of The Salty Lobster. I encourage all shoppers to touch and feel the merchandise so they can really get a feel for what Mainers can do. Also, touching the Lobster in the touch tank is a must too!
