We hiked the boundary trail. I have to admit unless you're from and know the trails well they can be very confusing. Thinking we were on the right trail we got side tracked on another with a similar color blaze (white and gray) then switched to blue to get back to the parking lot. There were other hikers as well... Have come a few times and done various trails. Its a great spot if you want to get a quick hike in and don't want to make a big long day out of it. Several trails to choose from with various lengths. The top is nice and relaxing and very rarely has more than a handful of people up there.... More

I was looking for a cheap camping site on our way to Provincetown Mass. and noticed this park near by. Sites were big for our tent (10x14x8 cabin) and the 2 cars. A very nice Park Ranger named Meghan made sure that we were checked in and settled. Asked about firewood and brought some promptly. The camping host were helpful... More

A beautiful state park with many hiking trails and great picnic sites. We recently celebrated my grandson's ninth birthday party and my son invented games to play on the trails. Very close to Freeport, but a world away from shoppers.

The view from the summit is quite nice. You can see the ocean on a clear day. You may want to bring mosquito repellent.

An all time favorite of mine, I've always loved trail running or hiking the various trails here, exploring the small mica pockets, high ridges, and the very interesting terrain of rock and fallen/leaning trees that gives it great character. There are various degrees of difficulty in the trails so there's a little bit of a challenge for anyone. Open spaces... More

We went camping off-season in October and only paid $11 a night. The mountain has a great view, I loved that the campground had a nice shower house and dishwashing station. No bathrooms, though, just outhouses. The campground was nearly empty when we went, which was good because there is virtually nothing between you and the site next to you... More

Worth a visit if traveling through Portland area, hiking trails, view of Casco bay and well maintained trails. Far enough away from traffic makes for a quiet environment walking through the woods.

Bradbury State Park is a great location for families looking for an easy hike and beautiful scenery. A short hike to the top and you can see for miles, even to the ocean on a clear day.
