First of all, I am not an outlet shopper. But this works for me. It is not your typical outlet as all the stores are on the main street or just a block or so off of it. It looks like most of the buildings have been restored and not your typical outlet with all glass fronts and all in... More

Shops are interspersed along the main road along with many restaurants. The ever expanding L.L. Bean buildings dominate one end. Parking is plentiful and shops are the usual outlet stores - probably slightly more high upscale than in Kittery. Pretty place to explore.

Outlets are supposed to save the consumer money. These do not. Prices are equal to, or even more, than, those in retail stores for similar items. You can save a few bucks on closeout items, but, the selection is rather poor. Shopping addicts will have a great time - savers won't.

LL Bean is the centre of the shopping area with the rest of the town being outlet shops. The outlets offer a comprehensive array of shops many high end. The prices are unbelievable. There are plenty of food outlets to provide the rests between the shopping. A great concept to reinvigorate a town.

This is an outdoor mall with many hills to climb to see all the shops. The prices are incredible and lots of steals. Also the home to LL Bean Headquarters and the LL Bean store is ope 24 hours a day. Could easily spend an entire day here to shop. The shops are all in cute row looking houses and... More

Freeport has outlet shopping in a quaint, lovely setting. It beats all of the "outlet malls" by a long shot. From the huge L. L. Bean to the brand stores you expect (Izod, Dooney & Bourke, Coach, Ralph Lauren, Gap, The North Face, etc.) to the cute and quirky (The Mangy Moose, Mexicali Blues), there's enough to make sure your...
