Rooster Brother has just about anything a serious cook would need. This is a high end establishment and priced thus but excellent quality is assured. You will find unique gifts, ornaments, pottery, soaps, candy and chocolate. Caper berries, oils, meats, olives and cheeses. A wide range of wines, San Pelligrino flavors as well as the unique and freshly roasted coffee!... More

Went there on the recommendation of a friend. They have a lovely selection of kitchen goods and it's a pleasant store. My problem occurred when I selected an apron with other items to purchase. The apron was cleared marked $8.50 but rang up at $19.90. After making the purchase I questioned the clerk and showed her the tag. Another clerk... More

We popped in here on our way to Bar Harbor and sampled the coffee which was so good that we diverted here for a rerun - twice in the following three days. Which about sums it up ... apart from the peanut cookies and the molasses cookies and the sandwiches and the deli. Oh and upstairs there's a hoard of... More

I LOVE this store. So much so that we are planning another visit to Maine in a few weeks so I can go back. It's 6 hours from our home, but it doesn't matter. It's worth the drive. Upstairs has all the "stuff" you never knew you needed (that's good selling, telling me what I need even if I didn't... More

We make a special trip to score these delicious cookies when they're still warm! The coffee is superb and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their products. Such a great assortment of treats for everyone! A must-go!

Good coffee(s), kitchen specialty goods and knowledgeable staff. Stop here en route to Bar Harbor if you want a taste of Maine before winding up in Acadia National Park

We found Rooster Brother Coffee Roasters by accident. We were mailing packages to our grandchildren and asked the post mistress at the PO where we could get good coffee. She directed us to Rooster Brother and next thing we knew we found one of the best things of our trip to Maine. It goes on our list right behind Acadia,... More

We frequently buy coffee on line from Rooster Brother. They offer a substantial variety, each at an appropriate price, continue to sell by the 16 oz. pound (not 12 oz., or 10.3 oz. etc.) and their turnaround time from on line order to delivery is super.

We stopped here thinking we could buy lunch. While they did have sandwiches, there was only one kind which I didn't want. It did look very well made though. But...we decided to get a couple of chocolate chip cookies on the way out. They were amazing. Quite possibly one of the best cookies ever.
