Permanent collection includes "The Penobscot Expedition", a multi-media presentation and display accounting the events of 1779 that led up to this disastrous chapter in American history including the controversial role of Paul Revere. Temporary exhibits revolve around local culture and interest drawing from the vast archives of the society. Special Group walking tours can be arranged. Open July1 - Labor Day, 10-4 M-Sat., 1-4 Sun., Closed Mondays.
