Camden is Maine!

So beautiful that we kept coming back just to see the harbor and the beautiful ships there. A must see while in Maine.

The harbor Park is such a wonderful place to visit on our way to Arcadia National Park. Great time had by all watching the various boats and daily life of the locals. Amazing place to stop and spend some time with the family.

Had a beautiful day on a sailboat ride for about an hour and then went and dined at the restaurant on the dock for a lobster roll. Beautiful park to sit and take in the scenery. Loved it here and can't wait to go back. I don't remember the name of the sailboat but it was owned by a lovely... More

There is a public parking with no time limit behind the library. Along the road there is also 2 hr parking spaces. Walk around the library even take a look inside. The top floor is so nice. Go down the cute little street with the shops. Some of them have a great view over the harbour from their back deck.... More

Adjacent to the lovely Camden Public Library, which sits on the highest point on Camden's Main Street, the outdoor amphitheater was designed and constructed in the late 1920's, early 30's. The views from there, the library grounds, and two acre Harbor Park are spectacular. We are so glad that by accidentt, when walking in the park, we discovered it.The Amphitheatre... More

Walking through and sitting overlooking the waterfall and harbor area is a must see spot. The amphitheatre is very inviting and it makes on wish there was a show as we walked through. The library in the background is a pretty site as well and the architecture worth viewing from the grassy area behind.

Wonderful place to view Camden Harbor and schooners. In summer free tours of Camden downtown from Camden Public library which is right next to Amphitheatre. The library itself is a great place to visit. A National Historic landmark.
