I had a chance to ski the Snow Bowl for the first time ever last weekend. I was glad I got to ski it. The snow was great and the runs were pleasant and well groomed. There was a pretty big crowd, so be prepared to wait on a nice weekend afternoon. The new triple is pretty much the only... More

We came to Camden specifically to attend the tobogganing championships this February and it did not disappoint. There was plenty of space to stand along the track and watch the sliders. There was a chili-cookoff which made for a great lunch. A costume contest for the teams competing. Great food carts. We loved it and will definitely return with a... More

My husband and I spent the night in the area so we could be at the Snow Bowl early the next day. By 9:00 AM there wasn't any parking left and they were turning people away.

2015 has been a stellar year for snow. Conditions at Camden Snow Bowl were awesome. The views are amazing - Penobscot Bay and the islands are a stunning backdrop, An added bonus - we had a great day watching the US National Toboggan Championship.

Once they finally got the new chair up and running we enjoyed an incredible day of powder skiing. The lift transforms the resort as now you can ski every run (and some new ones) even on week days. Also, there are no longer lift lines just because school has been cancelled. The two hour pass for skiing is the best... More

Midway through a wonderful renovation with new hiking trials, bike trails, and the most scenic skiing in Maine. Look out over Penobscot Bay from many view spots including the new chair lifts. Very family and child friendly.

My wife and I were married on top of the Camden Snow Bowl! It was a perfect day and the staff was super helpful with all of our needs. The view from the top made for some excellent wedding pictures; and the price to rent the mountain and lifts were a great value. If you're considering this venue for a... More

Friendly staff, beautiful town/views, and decent trails. It is a smaller mountain, but keeping that in mind, there is a terrific variety of difficulty-level from beginner to black diamond and the trails are well-groomed. If you need a tune-up or new gear, Charlie and Dale will fix you right up--a couple of great guys in the Ragged Mountain ski shop,... More

There is a toboggan chute at the base of the mountain. It only costs $5 to enjoy the chute for one hour and the toboggan is supplied for you. We had a lot of nerves to start with but what a thrill! Our group of over 50 year olds anticipated only doing one run. But after one run, we were... More

Good times, people. Skiing can be fun, but try the other activities: toboggan, snow-tubing, snow-shoeing, and nordic skiing. We had a blast.
