The camp/cottage once owned by Clyde Holmes on the Northport side is the one my folks bought in 1956. All our Slade family and relatives and friends enjoyed it there summer, fall and winter. Great relaxing with nature. You can fish here, but won't catch too much. Bring your canoe!

“Fabulous, quiet pond”

Every time we go here, we wonder where everyone is. We even tried visiting on Fourth of July weekend and still it was quiet. We love to kayak over into the little alcove and play with the friendly frogs. The call of the loon is another attraction. Quiet serenity.

This is one of the most relaxing vacations. staying on pitchers pond is a wonderful experience. We stay at the Pennell cabins right on the lake every year. The scenary is breath takingly beautiful. Pitcher pond is about 20 minutes from Camden but a world away. Nearly half of the three mile long lake is undeveloped. There is little boat traffic except on weekends during the summer.
