The Mid-Coast area of Maine is very fortunate to have such a wonderful Beach and Campground. It's a beautiful park, very well maintained, clean, and a friendly crew. They are famous for their annual Blue Grass Festival which I have been to many times. It's the perfect place for a day at the beach,or camping. I like to go there... More

The beach is tidal - like all beaches in Maine but when the tide is out it is mud flats so not much to do and is not as pretty as when te tide is in. It is a nice park to visit while in Brunswick for a picnic

I love bringing the dog and walking the beach whenever possible! It is free and still not overcrowded!

Went here lots as a kid. it is a great picnic place and they keep it well, but the price goes up and up. When the tide is out, there is not enough water for swimming so you have a lot of sand...but kids can look for jellyfish and horse shoe crabs etc in season. There is a game room... More

When the tide is high it's nice. However there are tons of little shells in the muddy sand that will cut your feet. When the tide is out there is no chance at getting at water. But if you go during high tide, and bring water shoes you will have a great time and you might even see a horseshoe... More

Thomas Point Beach is a beautiful spot along the coast of Maine! It's a campground, a place to enjoy a picnic and swim, and a great spot for a family reunion or company picnic. The grounds are very well kept and the staff is like family. At high tide, you can kayak from the beach and see opsrey and herons.... More

This was the perfect setting for the Maine Highland Games. A light salty breeze in off the water on hot days. Trees offered a sheltered area for camping, open fields for a parking lot. A large parade ground for the Massed Pipe Bands. I haven't been back to TPB or the Highland Games since they moved.
