Went to Thomas Point Beach for their annual Bluegrass festival the end of August 2014. They had some of the best bluegrass bands in the business. The music onstage began around 10:00 AM and basically went non stop to 10:00 PM with a brief break for dinner. There was very little time spent setting up for the next bands. Very... More

Large beach area but beware of low tide tides-- we weren't wise enough to check and had a few hours until the tide came back in. Fortunately, there were enough wade pools and sand bars to entertain the kids. Also has main facilities building with fooz-ball and arcade games, snacks/food. Also a playground on site.

The Mid-Coast area of Maine is very fortunate to have such a wonderful Beach and Campground. It's a beautiful park, very well maintained, clean, and a friendly crew. They are famous for their annual Blue Grass Festival which I have been to many times. It's the perfect place for a day at the beach,or camping. I like to go there... More

The beach is tidal - like all beaches in Maine but when the tide is out it is mud flats so not much to do and is not as pretty as when te tide is in. It is a nice park to visit while in Brunswick for a picnic

Went here lots as a kid. it is a great picnic place and they keep it well, but the price goes up and up. When the tide is out, there is not enough water for swimming so you have a lot of sand...but kids can look for jellyfish and horse shoe crabs etc in season. There is a game room... More

When the tide is high it's nice. However there are tons of little shells in the muddy sand that will cut your feet. When the tide is out there is no chance at getting at water. But if you go during high tide, and bring water shoes you will have a great time and you might even see a horseshoe... More

Thomas Point Beach is a beautiful spot along the coast of Maine! It's a campground, a place to enjoy a picnic and swim, and a great spot for a family reunion or company picnic. The grounds are very well kept and the staff is like family. At high tide, you can kayak from the beach and see opsrey and herons.... More
