We did not take the guided tour. We were interested in the Joshua Chamberlain exhibit which was very good. Sorry to hear there is controversy re who gave the order at Little Round Top, but I'm still in JLC's corner . A lot of information was available if you want to do research

It is simply impossible to tell you what you'll see when you visit this museum and it would spoil all the fun if I told you. The history of the Brunswick area can be learned from this museum, and the Skolfield-Whittier House, both of which are maintained by the local historical society.

The Pejebscot Historical Society and the Scolfield Whittier House are wonderful. They offer guided tours through the well kep Scolfield Whittier House, whcih is basically a time capsule, almost like steepping back in time.
