The college campus is very pretty and worth a stroll. It is much larger than I expected for a school of this size enrollment wise. You can walk from Maine Street.

If you want to think lofty thoughts and get your long lost creative genius juices flowing, stroll around this timeless, classic liberal arts campus. Its full of well maintain, interesting architecture softened by mature trees and lush lawns just hankering for a horizontal stretch. Be sure to contemplate on the steps of the art museum and swing by the Arctic... More

Imagine Harvard Yard but on a smaller scale. Think of Yale's architecture but in a coastal town setting. Highly recognized as a premier educational institution. Small in size but large in reputation. All this and the quaint town of Brunswick. A 3.5 hour drive to Boston.

Bowdoin College is a jewel in the center of Brunswick. Our experience entails attending the summer music presented by the Maine State Music Theater, where we walk part of the campus before a snow. The campus is full of beautiful old trees.

Beautiful campus with excellent academics. World class scholarship and great alumni network. Men's rugby won the Maine cup this year and is worth following.

Bowdoin is a very nice school with a beautiful campus and facilities. The dining hall food here is remarkably good for a university. Whenever we visited our daughter we would enjoy walking along main st. and trying out many of the different restaurants. The Freeport shopping outlets and LL Bean are also a short drive away.

Drove up to Brunswick during a fall weekend before Thanksgiving. The last of the college visits for this year. The campus tour was informative and enjoyable. At first glance, she thought the school was too small to consider. However, they sent a beautiful book and the pictures of the campus draw you in. Our visit cemented her decision to apply... More

My friend and I took a drive up to Bruncwick and we took a walk through Bowdoin's campus. Between the fall foliage and the historical architecture it was a pleasant sight. You've gotta love all the gates and staues around campus that were given by different graduating classes. I also particularly liked the memorial to the war dead. To our... More

lovely architecture and layout, interesting history. If you are a history buff, do not miss touring the Joshua Lawrence Chamberlin House.
