Bowdoin College has so many distinguished graduates--among them Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. It is a beautiful, old campus with a wonderful art museum and gift shop. The museum had no entrance fee. Brunswick is a great old town to explore!

Scenic campus that has a couple of museums... Art and an Arctic. Had lunch in the Union and it was pretty good and fairly priced.

Check the Bowdoin International Music Festival website in the spring for a full calendar of concerts in July by advanced music students from all over and the professional musicians working with them. Held in different venues on the campus. We just heard a free morning concert at the Bowdoin College of Art. What a difference a chamber, this one a... More

Old timey campus until you get to the gym facilities: climbing wall, yoga studio, tons of treadmills etc. the dorms are nice too, roomy. Lovely people, friendly, people walk by and say hi. The enthusiasm of our guide was infectious. We left there feeling and knowing that this was the place for our daughter. Loved it!!

Historic and charming - well worth the visit. If you are in Brunswick take a moment to walk around this lovely - and renowned liberal arts college. Walk where some of the literary greats have walked. Easy to get around - friendly folks. We have no real connection to the school - it was quite literally a "while we are... More

Strolling through the beautiful and immaculate campus was a highlight of a recent trip to Brunswick. An encounter with a friendly student was the first of two terrific encounters. A moderate need for a rest room had prompted trying the door to a dorm in hopes of getting in and finding the necessary facility. The student who observed my finding... More

I'm biased, as I went to school at Bowdoin, but as a "townie" i love taking the dog for a walk up around campus and enjoying the beautiful buildings and landscaping. If you are coming through town and looking for a quick stretch of the legs go on campus and check out one of the amazing museums or just walk... More

Very nice campus located in a neat little city. The campus is covered with trees and seems like students walk to almost anywhere in the area since it is so compact.
