Beautiful. Daylight is all around. Layout is exceptional. My wife is on our local library board so we went in for a look. We will be visiting again and it will be nice to spend a bit more time.

Lovely little library in this itsy bitsy town. 100 year old building, we were told, that has been updated with skylights. Amazing that such a small town has such a large, lovely library. Then again, this is EB White territory.

This is a beautiful and friendly library. They were having a special event and welcomed us to join them. I could sit here for hours with the local history learning and more.

This little haven of gentleness and books resides quietly in the shadow of E.B. White and Roger Angell. Friendly hosts softly chatted with a nosey visitor from away. Free WiFi helps the world intrude even in Brooklin. Come and read a while.

Built in 1912, this tiny Greek Revival building looks like a sweet, old library. Step inside, though, and you will "Wow!" Renovated and updated in the past several years, this is a for-real, gorgeous, up-to-date library and is well-used and well-loved. The librarian was friendly, even though everyone who came in asked, "WHEN was this built?" There was an art... More

This lovely library is quintessentially Maine and yet thoroughly modern at the same time. They've just automated and have books to be down-loaded and WiFi - and the atmosphere is completely friendly and as Linus described his pumpkin patch, 'most sincere' and hospitable because of the pleasant and helpful dispositions of the librarian and staff. A screen cottage gets put... More
