A very vibrant and attractive temple complex. Very picturesque and well maintained too.Excellent facilities as well. Serene?? No way, always crowded and noisy except in the early mornings. One very strange things comes to notice is the racism on display there are different sets of rules for whites and locals. The condescending and arrogant attitude of the volunteer in strange dresses... More

We visited this off the Assam Bengal Navigation ship. We are not believers. It was very interesting to see the existing temple and the incomplete new "vedic planetarium ", which is going to be vast when it is finished, especially as we have encountered believers at home in the UK and not understood the set of beliefs. I'd politely disagree... More

If you are looking for peace ... Do visit ISCKON, Mayapur. Located away from the rush of a metro city, lush green locality this place offers all you need . They are building a new temple just adjacent to the old one much much bigger one , supposedly Asia's largest. Can't wait to goto the new one.

There's nothing best than being with spirituality, and most importantly when it connects us with the supreme personality, the god head, a little more than gods. The villages, places and temples around are well preserved past of the holy times, that is felt in time today. Remember to collect souvenir and visit the big museum.

This is a beautiful temple with excellent interior decorations. It is the "pushpa (flower) samadhi" of A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the founder of ISKCON. It is shaped like a lotus. The temple complex is very pretty and one can enjoy the aarati and prasad. However, compared to the international status of this temple the services are quite rudimentary. The... More
