There's nothing best than being with spirituality, and most importantly when it connects us with the supreme personality, the god head, a little more than gods. The villages, places and temples around are well preserved past of the holy times, that is felt in time today. Remember to collect souvenir and visit the big museum.

Sridham Mayapur is a place of Spirituality. The temples in Mayapur Dham are unparalleled. No place gives you the spiritual guidance and bliss more than Mayapur. I've been going to Mayapur Dham every year for the past 4 years and I've found no place on earth as beautiful and blissful as this. The Mayapur Chadrodaya Temple - an ISKCON temple... More

This is a beautiful temple with excellent interior decorations. It is the "pushpa (flower) samadhi" of A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the founder of ISKCON. It is shaped like a lotus. The temple complex is very pretty and one can enjoy the aarati and prasad. However, compared to the international status of this temple the services are quite rudimentary. The... More

Best place to visit Mayapur as there are no multiple choice in Nadia. There are many temples around including Iskon. The Navadwip Dham is also closeby on the other bank of the river. Nice place to visit with your family and relatives.

I started from Kolkata in the morning. It took quite some time for wading through the traffic as we crossed the Kolkata City to its northern part. We had sumptuous lunch at Krishnanagar followed by famous Sarbhaja and Sarpuriya sweets. The road condition has improved in May 2014 compared to the what it was in September 2013. It may be... More
