We went to the creole concert and had a blast!!! It was my first creole music experience and I truly enjoyed it. Everyone was dancing and the band was soooo good.

The Opera House at Boothbay Harbor is a comfortable place to spend an evening being entertained by musical acts representing a variety of genres. A recent visit to see and listen to Noel Paul Stookey (formerly with Peter, Paul and Mary) was entertaining, relaxful and generally enjoyable. Arriving about an hour prior to the 8 p.m. performance, we waited in... More

Lovely little space to attract such a HUGE group of talent. Ticket prices were surprisingly low and this was an awesome way to start our vacation.

Casual, intimate, with a bar if you get there early or have time during intermission. A great place to see a concert. We've been several times, and sat in several places, never disappointed. Also, even in high season we never had a problem parking here a

Actually went there in August of 2012 and saw the Steep Canyon Rangers who had just released "Rare Bird Alert" (Steve Martin and Paul McCartney on the album!) Great cozy venue with bar. Almost always sold out!

While on vacation we notice that a perfomer that we knew happened to be appearing at the historic opera house in Boothbay Harbour. Found tickets and we were pleasantly surpised at the setting. The acoustics were phenominal because they did not have amplified sound when this theatre was built. They have done an amazing job of preserving it and bring... More

Went recently to see David Wilcox, and acoustic guitar singer. Didn't know much about David, but really enjoyed his show, and his 'therapy' in his music. We try to go each September when we go to Maine. Hoping for next year, that Gaelic Storm will be passing through, as that concert was just super. The Opera House is the way... More

There is honestly not a bad seat in the house. The folks who run this gorgeous little venue are some of the most hospitable I have met. This was our first trip but certainly not our last. We will keep tabs on who is playing and will be sure to return! We had a wonderful experience.
