The Sarah Mead can hold up to six passengers who should expect to see lighthouses, porpoise, seals, osprey and even lobsters. We do lobster under sail, just the way they used to 150 years ago. Take the helm, hoist a sail, or just sit back and relax, it's up to you! « less

We had a great sunset Cruise with Captain Randy for my wife's birthday. Our 3 boys all agreed it was the favorite part of their trip and they loved everything about the trip! Captain Randy was great and they liked the little "jobs" they had. I think anyone staying at the spruce point inn or in booth bay harbor should... More

Our 2 Hours with Captain Nate and Sarah on the Sarah Mead were amazing. This little boat and crew have so much to offer. Sarah was kind enough to show our teenage son the "ropes". Nate's experience and love of the area, came through loud and clear. The boat is truly one of a kind. Where else could one haul... More

We sailed with Captain Nate today, and enjoyed a great sail. The wind was in our favor, and we were able to see the sights of Boothbay Harbor. We saw osprey, porpoises, cormorants, and other sea birds. Capt. Nate was very knowledgeable and we greatly enjoyed our time on the water!

I drove from Portland to Boothbay for the day. Two hours with Randy and his intern Sara was so interesting. They are both very personable and knowledgeable about sailing, lobstering and the area. We saw a seal, porpoises, and an eagles nest. The weather was clear and the scenery is gorgeous. It was a relaxing way to spend my time!

We took an afternoon sail with Captain Nate and Captain Randy with our two boys, ages 8 and 12, while staying at the Spruce Point Inn. According to our boys, it was the highlight of their time in Boothbay Harbor and we could not agree more. Captain Nate and Randy are friendly and personable and have excellent local knowledge of... My husband and I went out on the afternoon sail with both Nate and Randy. Both were extremely knowledgeable about sailing and the area. We passed by 2 of the lighthouse's and saw some wildlife in the form of birds. Nate did pull a lobster trap but had only caught a beautiful crab. But that was ok too. Very relaxed... More

We had a lovely sail on the Sarah Mead with Captain Nate. He was very informative and we learned a lot about the Maine coast - it's people, lobstering and more. His boat was comfortable and quite unique. Nate is also great with kids. Our sail was followed by a crab race back on the dock! We would recommend taking... More

We have sailed with Nate every year since he started at Spruce Point. It is a great time, and Nate makes you feel like family. We will keep on coming back!

We had a lovely two hour tour right from the dock at Spruce Point Inn. The boat was small enough to make it a very intimate, friendly trip. Randy and Nate were knowledgeable, but low key and relaxed. The tour is very reasonably priced. We look forward to sailing with them again!

Capt Nate and his crew member Hayden were exceptional, start to finish, and we loved every minute of our boat trip with them. The boat is small enough that we really felt close to the water, but we were also safe and relaxed the whole time. We saw porpoises, as well as lots of sea birds, and learning about the... More
