My husband and I loved every minute of the Eastwind sailing experience. The day we chose was sunny but with plenty of wind. The ticket sales agent, Cindy Geddry was friendly and enthusiastic about the ship and crew and the experience we were about to enjoy. There were four other people with us on the 3 p.m. trip. After we... More

Wow what an enjoyable time. What a family experience. Capt. Bob was great and it was an experience to see him teaching First Mate Austin. The sail was an experience of a lifetime. If your visiting the area and looking to spend a few dollars this is worth the money spent.

First time out sailing loved it! Very enjoyable. Sean and Jerry were great. Jerry was very knowledgeable about the areas history. Enjoyed hearing his stories. Would love to go out again. Highly recommend.

My husband and I spent three days in beautiful Boothbay Harbor. The schooner eastwind sunset cruise was our favorite thing we did while there. The captain (Bob) and deckhand (Austin I think?)were very personable and professional too. We sailed around the beautiful bay and saw many lighthouses, islands, and even a couple of seals on. Definitely worth the price.

My husband & I were so excited to sail on Eastwind! We had the best service from the time we called to make the reservation & talked to Cindy to Shawn welcoming us onboard. Shawn was so attentive to all the guests on board & Jerry was wonderful as well. We had such a good time on the sail that... More

Thanks so much to Sean and Jerry for an ideal afternoon sailing Boothbay Harbor. We knew we wanted to take a boat trip this time in Boothbay, but with so many choices, were conflicted on which one to choose. Just by happenstance, we stopped to talk to the lady in the Eastwind booth. She was friendly, enthusiastic, and because we... More

Great sail with Captain Sean and mate Sally! So knowledgeable about the area and filled with inside stories and scientific explanations of how a sailboat of this size works. We could help sail if desired. Very comfortable seating. Some folks brought a lunch and beverage. We just brought water, hats and sunscreen! Highly recommended!

An absolutely perfect afternoon. Call ahead and ask when Sean and Jerry are crewing the ship. Friendly, relaxed, showed us how to work the boat and raise the sails. Don't miss this cruise if you're in Boothbay!

Went with my family of four (kids 12 and 14) and had a great mid-day trip. The owners have been doing tours for 40 years and are experienced husband/wife sailors having traveled around the world twice! They let us hoist up the sails and had many great historical facts about Boothbay and the surrounding waters. Worth the trip!
