We had a good time out on the Pink Lady. The young lady who helped to identify the whales/seals/porpoise, etc was very knowledgeable and we did see a lot of whales!!!! The cafe was not so hot...take your own snacks (which they do allow though they post that they do not). We would definitely do this again!

We did the 3 hour Kennebec River tour on a sunny and warm day in late August. The captain was very knowledgeable and entertaining as he took us around the harbors and rivers and pointed out wildlife. Interesting to go through the swing bridge at Southport, and past the destroyer being built at Bath Iron Works. I particularly enjoyed seeing... More

The trip was good... but we had passes from a previous year that no whales were sighted...... We saw whales... in the distance.... one tail (fluke) and about 10 spouts.... a couple of fins.... I think it is very pricey $$$ and if we were paying full price for this trip I would have been disappointed.... Think I will try... More

We took Cap'n Fish's Whale Watching cruise yesterday and had a fantastic time. Our captain and his crew were very informative and provided great commentary on the way out and back (a total of 3 hours). We were lucky and saw a pod of fin whales (6-7 whales) frolicking once we got to the site they recommended. It was an... More

The thing about whale watching, tour guides don't have a contract with the ocean's whale population to guarantee that they'll show up on cue. But for us, on the date we went, the whales showed up in great numbers and we were thrilled by the experience. Regardless of what the whales did, the tour company was great. Professional, friendly and... More

My wife and I have gone on several whale watches over the years with varying degrees of success. On this one we went out about fifteen miles and saw nearly two dozen whales. These were not Right Whales, but the second largest - but I missed the species name. None were extremely close, but the trip was well worth the... More

We wanted to get to see as much of the coast around Boothbay Harbor as possible and were really pleased with the Kennebec to Bath (3 hr.) tour. Capt. Tabor clearly loves what he does and provided excellent narration throughout the trip. We saw ospreys, eagles and harbor seals in addition to getting up close to a Zumwalt class destroyer... More

First, there is NO guarantee that you will see any whales. With that in mind Cap'n Fish did a great job of finding the whales on our trip. The captain kept the boat as smooth as possible but you might want to consider dramamine depending upon weather conditions. The girl encouraging our watchful eyes was extremely knowledgable and kept us... More

The guide pointed out many points of interest on the way out including Margaret (Wicked Witch) Hamilton's summer home, an eagle chick sitting atop his next, light houses, and island facts... We saw so many fin back whales and of course seals. My children were thrilled. Thank you Capt 'n' Fish
