A beautiful boat ride, to a family owned island and more food than you can eat!! The A real traditional clambake with all the fixins'! Cooked outside, the old fashioned way, with wood, on the shore. You really must do this experience! Meet people, eat outside, with a terrific view of Linekin Bay. Well worth every cent, and of course... More

This was an awesome experience! And very satisfying for the palate. We took an amazing boat ride out to an island (the long way around to get there) that was narrated with history. We arrived on a beautiful island and were able to watch as the staff prepared a clambake for about 150 people. It was extremely filling and delicious.... More

We found time for this on their last weekend for the season. Perfect weather! Being from South Dakota- we HAD to take the boat for the narrated tour to the private island. The scenic tour was informative and a relaxing cruise. Welcomed to the Island by staff, we selected our table near another a group. I'm sure they added to... More

Dining at this clambake is a whole experience. We boarded the boat for a 1 hour narrated cruise of Boothbay Harbor on the way to Cabbage Island. Once there we were welcomed onto the island (a private island) by several staff members. We selected a picnic table right on the water and a waitress soon came and introduced herself and... More

Cabbage Island is a great way to experience Maine. Lobster, steamers, chowder, blueberry dessert cake, PLUS a great boat trip that highlights light houses along the route. You simply need to experience this to really get the feel of Maine! Wonderful family owned business. Make you feel special.

The #1 attraction rating of the Cabbage Island Clambake lived up to its reputation. The informative boat ride provided tidbits about the Boothbay harbor area. Upon docking, the smells and sight of food being steamed nearby made us anxious for our meal. What a delicious treat it was! No one should have gone away hungry. Picnic tables dotted the area... This is a family run business whose hospitality and hearty meals keep us returning yearly. Go with an empty stomach because the food is plentiful if you choose the lobsters, chicken or hot dog meals. Chowder starts the meal and an enormous serving of blueberry cake ends it. In between there is corn, baked potato, hard boiled egg and steamers.... More

This is an absolute GOTTA DO when in Boothbay Harbor. You cannot beat the price and the food is to die for. The family that owns the island is very accomodating and couldn't be nicer and more welcoming. Gotta see Mumma Alice and buy a shirt from her!!!

Great time going out and hanging on island. Food was fantastic-fish chowder, 2 lobsters, baked clams, corn on the cob, onion, boiled egg, blueberry cake. Sons and matriarch of the Moore family were there to welcome and stay on top of things. Mrs. Moore came around on her walker to greet and welcome us-what a great lady! The treatment of... More
