The boat ride was fun even in the rain. After we arrived on Cabbage Island and got situated, we went down to the water where the lobster and clams were being steamed. We were given silver lunch trays and moved along to have our food served to us. I couldn't believe it. 2 lobsters, corn on the cob, a whole... More

We had a free day while traveling around Maine and stumbled upon this here on trip advisor. I called to see if they could accommodate a same-day reservation for two, and the gentleman on the other end was really friendly and helpful. He was able to take us that same day! Only negative thing was I don't remember him warning... More

A great attraction in Booth Bay Harbor, Maine is the Cabbage Island Clam & lobster bake. We picked up our transportation (the Bennie-Alice, a two-decker boat that held about 100 or so diners) and headed out for the hour's ride to Cabbage Island. The ride was along the shoreline and the beautiful surrounding islands and there was plenty of covered... More

The boat ride was great, the guides, servers, cooks, and the entire island family were the best. Food was incredible. The scenery was super. If we ever travel back to Maine from Kentucky again this will be a priority

I agree with the other reviewers -- this is a wonderful attraction and well worth the money for all you get! The ride to the island was fun and informative, and the food is plentiful and delicious. When we arrived at the island for the clambake, we were greeted by the matriarch of the family and the woman who the... More

We loved this trip! Great food and the island was beautiful! The only way to describe this trip, it was like visiting family! Bennie Alice is a wonderful woman. The whole family made all of us feel at home. Would do this again and again!

This review is an attraction but should probably be included in "restaurants" also. My family & two friends visiting from AZ visited this clambake/island this past w/end and had a great time! The price may initially surprise you ($65pp) but with all the food you get, the guided one hour boat tour of the area islands and the beautiful island... More

There is plenty of food at this clambake. The chowder had lots of fish. Personally, I prefer a thicker chowder, but it was very tasty. The lobsters were very sweet some of the best I have had this season. Staff was very friendly and attentive. There were picnic tables both in the shade and the sun. Some at our table had... More

For a second time, members of Parish of the Assumption enjoyed a bus trip from Dover, NH to Boothbay Harbor. After touring the sights, shopping or having a bite to eat, we boarded the Bennie Alice for our guided tour through the bay to Cabbage Island. Our group was welcomed by Bennie Alice herself as she showed us to our... More

The Moore family were wonderful hosts of this terrific clambake. The boat ride is fun and not too long, and the island offers a great view of the bay. You could eat at various picnic tables or sit in the covered area. There were rest room facilities in the covered hut and on the boat. The food was abundant and... More
