This is a great trip. Nice boat ride to the island. The island is pretty and the traditional lobster feed is really neat. Lots of food! You will not be hungry when you leave. The food is excellent too. Only complaint is when I called to get information the woman who answered the phone was not very friendly. She was... More

Great fun day. You are taken out for a one hour narrated cruise or Boothbay Harbor. Followed by a great Lobster bake including twin lobsters, corn on the cob, steamers, bakes potato, boiled egg and onion and blueberry cake. Delish! If the weather is nice the whole experience is fabulous. Be sure to bring cash or check. No credit cards... More

My wife and I did the Clambake on Tuesday, July 1 with another couple and we all really enjoyed ourselves. The boat ride over was fun and informative, and, although the bar was busy, we were able to get drinks on board. The large crowd was handled very professionally, and all of the Clambake employees were very accommodating and friendly.... More

I would like to start by saying that I live in Maine, only about 45 minutes from Boothbay Harbor. Cabbage Island Clambakes is one of my "must do" attractions when we have guests visiting. It is a bit pricey, but SO worth the money! The boat ride to the island is always a nice time (though I do recommend doing... More

My husband and I did the clambake cruise on a Saturday evening on a return visit to Boothbay Harbor and were very pleased! The boat ride was nice and the dinner was delicious! It is a unique experience for dinner and we enjoyed meeting the others on the boat and the family that owns the island. Highly recommend!

As a native of Maine, I can say that this meal was delicious, the boat ride was enjoyable, and the scenery was breathtaking. Even though I would probably do this again, I do feel that based on the cost, it is probably more enjoyed (and considered a value) by someone visiting from another place. This is what I call an... A beautiful boat ride, to a family owned island and more food than you can eat!! The A real traditional clambake with all the fixins'! Cooked outside, the old fashioned way, with wood, on the shore. You really must do this experience! Meet people, eat outside, with a terrific view of Linekin Bay. Well worth every cent, and of course... More

This was an awesome experience! And very satisfying for the palate. We took an amazing boat ride out to an island (the long way around to get there) that was narrated with history. We arrived on a beautiful island and were able to watch as the staff prepared a clambake for about 150 people. It was extremely filling and delicious.... More

We found time for this on their last weekend for the season. Perfect weather! Being from South Dakota- we HAD to take the boat for the narrated tour to the private island. The scenic tour was informative and a relaxing cruise. Welcomed to the Island by staff, we selected our table near another a group. I'm sure they added to... More
