This trip is outstanding. A nice boat ride narration of the harbor, arriving on Cabbage Island and greeted by such a friendly staff. Beautiful views, excellent food. If you enjoy boat rides, fresh seafood, and a relaxing afternoon, this is a must. When you get to the dock, they do not accept credit cards, so bring your cash/check. If you... More

The trip to and from the island was very relaxing. Arriving at the island you are greeted by very friendly staff. It is a lovely spot for this very delicious clam bake.

I went to Cabbage Island one year ago. I highly recommend this trip for anyone who likes to eat seafood. It was awesome, even for me, who gets fresh fish and lobster all the time.

It's true what the other reviews say, this is a very fun and special way to spend an afternoon. From the great boar ride up to the island, to roaming around the island itself (which is very small and family friendly) to the spectacular and seamlessly executed clambake...it's truly an experience worth doing once. We come to Boothbay Harbor every... More

We stumbled across the Cabbage Island trip, and were pleasantly surprised by the experience. The Lobster, clams, baked potato, egg and blueberry cake was delicious! We were able to watch the crew bake the food on large wood fueled pits. The Matriarch, who was 94 years young, came thru and chatted with everyone that was outside on the porch enjoying... More

This is a very pretty spot outside of Boothbay Harbor. It's part of the Cabbage Island Clambake so you need to book their excursion. It's worth it.

A must to get a great view of the area via boat and experience a clambake. The owners of the island a very friendly and love to chat. Their 94 year old Mom works in the gift shop and also makes the rounds to welcome everyone. Need to pay with cash or check- No credit cards.

After a 1-hour boat trip to get to the island, we found a nice secluded picnic table for our lobster dinner. We then observed how they cook it all (in burlap sacks covered with seaweed) which was very interesting. Our server, Zak, was very friendly and attentive. Their seafood chowder was the best we had while in Maine, and the... More

This whole experience was wonderful. Starting with the boat tour of area islands, then the tremendous feast on the island. Everyone working there was so pleasant and helpful. Traveling with older parents can be tricky, but they went above and beyond to help. The blueberry cake for dessert is huge and so tasty. If you can't eat everything, they are... More
