Wandering through the grounds and taking the train ride are highlights. Children friendly, it's a great time for all. Interesting regional history is represented here. Something for everyone in the family. More

This is such a great place to take little children! They are easily amazed by the train, sounds, and gifts! Even I was smiling the whole time. More

There is so much to see on the grounds, the antique cars are amazing and there are dozens of them. All the out houses have a story to tell. More

Took my Grandson and he had a blast. It is small, well maintained and a lot of fun. Put it on your list of things to do! More

This is a great place to visit if you are a railroad buff or if you have young to early teenage years children. The two-foot railroad with a live steam engine makes a short circular run which is just plain flat-out fun. At the top of the circle there is an antique car museum the sort of place that brings... I brought my grandkids for the train ride, & ended up really enjoying the experience myself, especially the large antique car collection that I didn't know about before visiting. The staff is very helpful & friendly, and I would definitely recommend a family or individual visit for a morning or afternoon while visiting in Boothbay Harbor. More

We recently visited the Railway Village August 2011. It was an interesting place. They have several old buildings with antiques. The old car collection that is there is extensive and great to look at. They also have a model railway that they have been working on for the past couple of years. The wiring and setup is amazing to look... More

We stopped at the Boothbay Railway Village during a road trip because my husband loves trains and my friend’s husband loves antique cars. We weren’t sure if it was going to be children-focused or something adults would also enjoy. The train itself is a small steam engine that goes around the property by one of three engines on narrow gauge... More
