I tripped across this neat place one day this past winter and was lucky to have brought my good camera. I spent a solid hour walking through and around this bridge taking pics and marveling at its craftsmanship. I suspect it's equally as neat in the warmer months as well.

This little out of the way area is a great place for a quick picture, selfie or group photo. The site of even a few weddings over the years. If your in the area a great stop but, nothing to go out of your way for.

We stopped by the side of the road to enjoy the bridge and the river as it is a beautiful spot. It was so quiet and relaxing we all decided to just stay for awhile. Soon, a few other cars came by and we all visited. It's a shame we didn't pack a picnic as this would be an excellent... More

The bridge is well maintained and picturesque. In fact, there had been a wedding there earlier in the day when we visited. However, if you aren't a huge fan of covered bridges, there are no historic placards or anything else of interest here. If you are, though, it is well maintained, there is a decent amount of parking on either... More

If the weather is right this is a photographers paradise. Also a perfect place for long romantic walks in the surrounding woodlands.

This was a little side trip we took with our two grandchildren, ages six and five, after we had done the gem hunting at the Bethel Outdoor Adventures sluice (which they loved). They had never seen a covered bridge. This was just a quick stop, but they enjoyed seeing the river, and my granddaughter said, "I'm pretty sure I saw... More

Very scenic in winter and late summer only times I've been here. Looking forward to riding the trails next summer. The paths looked not to difficult. I have taken some great pictures in winter and would love to catch the leaves turning, but I have to return to work. Before they turn.

Off the US 2 by about 10 minutes at most, this is a beautifully constructed and preserved example of US history, over a pretty river. We saw it in lovely autumn (fall !!) weather, which enhanced the experience. Quite an enterprise for local people in the 1870's when it was built. Very peaceful - with opportunities to dabble in the... More
