We ski at Sunday River several times every year. The snow is always great and the people are always friendly. Foggy Goggle apres entertainment is always fun. Over Martin Luther King weekend, my son lost his Go Pro off his helmet early Sunday morning somewhere on Spruce. He did several runs skiing and looking for it to no avail. We... More

This is probably the best mountain I have been to in the Northeast with multiple peaks offering an array of skiing options for the green beginner to the more adventurous expert skier/boarder. I particularly enjoy it because with so many peaks and chair lifts operating simultaneously the lift lines move efficiently even during peak seasons (I've been both over New... More

We had a great long weekend at Sunday River Ski Resort. We stayed in a condo on the base of the mountain and skied right outside of our door. If you stay in the condos, make sure you get the lift tickets included and the price is considerably cheaper than if you buy them separately on the side. The conditions... More

Went on a large group ski trip here and had an awesome time. Lots of trails and lots of ski/snowboard options for all levels. Definitely worth going and would go back again. .. hopefully yearly. The trails were definitely nicely maintained and the lift lines moved along at a good pace. Saw some disabled skiers each day. .. and you... More

Lots of options for green skiiers and if your up to it, plenty of challenging runs for the more experienced. Yearly ski passes are good at Sugar Loaf too. Vacation rentals include ski in ski out and there appear to be lots of new ones under construction. Lift lines moved efficiently over the Xmas/New Years peak, with one exception the... More

Stayed at the Grand Summit hotel for two days of skiing. End of December, pretty cold out, and for two days in a row -- no hot water in the hotel! Trust me, this place is not cheap, and to have to take cold showers after skiing for two days is ridiculous. I called the front desk to complain --... More

20+ years have passed since I enjoyed the runs at Sunday River and I was happy to be back to find many improvements yet it still feels very manageable. My three teens each had less than 6 hours of total skiing experience from a day trip to Cannon last year; the two youngest took a 2-hour group lesson. Sunday River's... More

Not much snow prior to our visit, but trails were well groomed and snow was made. Icy conditions the first day, but better the second

Sunday River is one of my preffered places to go snowboarding in New England. They have a couple different parks, great snow making and glades. Me and my wife did a ski and stay package which came with a free clinic. It was basically a one-on-one instructor to student ratio for the snowboarding clinic. The instructors, John, Amanda, and Brent,... More
