The most expensive ski area we were in on our 6 resort trip. No discounts on offer at any time so it was $340 for a family of 4. This was the big one on my bucket list of New England ski resorts so perhaps I had expected too much. It was good but not great, even although weather and... More

One of the premier ski resorts in the Northeast for sure. I usually only get here once or twice per season, but it's a treat. Certainly not a cheap day, and it takes a couple hrs to get there, but the quality of the trails, lifts and the facility as a whole is great.

If you are a ski enthusiast, this is the best place to visit in the Northeast! I have skied many New England destinations and this by far is my favorite and most sought after winter plans location. What I feel is the best here is the layout of the mountain and the ease in which to traverse across from White... More

We just got back from our first Dad and boys 11 and 9, snowboard trip. It was my first time here and i was completely blown away at the terrain and the variety of runs from some really nice green cruisers to black tree runs. Something for everyone. I consider myself to be an expert boarder and my boys are... More

Just returned from my second March trip to Sunday River. Once again, the accommodations at the Grand Summit Lodge were better than most being clean and comfortable with true ski in ski out and all the amenities expected (heated outdoor pool, hot tub, wifi, etc). The resort has six peaks with terrain from bunny hills to double black natural terrain through... The resort had plenty to do with and without kids for the week- The lesson programs were very good and the night time activities were fun. We did snow tubing and zip lining and it was a lot of fun, albeit quite cold. It is ,after all, a ski area, be prepared for varying weather conditions.

I hesitate to write this review because I don't want to encourage more visitors. That's part of what I love about this place. Enough people come here to keep the lights on and buy new snowmaking equipment every year, but if it turns into Killington I'll shoot myself. It's not quaint- like a Cranmore, but if you want a huge... More

Stayed in Cascades due to indoor pool and slope side access. Never going back to it again. Convenient, yes but... 1. It only has stairs. We carried all our luggages 3 steep flights up. 2. They say fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. No it is not. No dishwasher. Jay Peak in Vermont has fully equipped kitchen. This place, not comparable... More
