Beautiful park with a playground, swimming pool, and sports fields right on the water. There's plenty of parking or you could walk it from downtown and bring a picnic lunch.

I believe this was the park on the harbor where we spent the morning wandering through a local art fair. There was a local bluegrass band and many things to eat. A lovely morning. The town of Belfast has really undergone a renaissance.

In a little town there is this little park with a rocky little beach. I love this little park! Wish I had my blanket and a book because I could stay for hours under the tree with my dog reading, listening to to ocean, and just relaxing. Shhh! Don't tell everyone :)

Have arrived by cruise ship, we were met at the dock by Chamber of Commerce Reps to greet us and provide maps of the town and its attractions. A shuttle bus is free and makes continual loops around the hilly streets.

This park has something for everyone. A beach, tennis, a big pool, baseball field, great picnicking. Just a cool place to take the kids or friends to spend the afternoon.

After the Perry Nut House visit we needed a few minutes to rest before heading to Camden. This is a very nice park and I think families would enjoy spending a Sunday afternoon here. The view alone would have other communities envious. People we met were very nice and it was a pleasure to share their special place with them... More

Midcoast Maine is lovely, but doesn't know squat about creating a useable park for young kids. This one comes closest. If you're from a part of the country where you're used to safe, well manicured parks, you may be disappointed, but the equipment is certainly adequate, the view is very nice, and the beach, although extremely rocky, is flat and... Love that the park playground is now all open so it makes viewing your children a bit easier when they play. the swings are great and the castle side very unique

When I was young my dads side of the family would have a reunion every so often in Belfast. It was beautiful and soooo much fun. Those are some great memories. Love to go again someday. I have not been in many, many years but I had to select a time that I visited so I chose the oldest date... More
