If you love watching your children play and interact and not even aware they are learning, you love our little museum. There are several floors of fun and places for direct interaction for each child. It is reasonably priced and you can stay all day. We live here and we go frequently

I was very impressed with this museum. It provided at least a couple of hours of fun for our five year old. I especially loved going inside books with the life size recreations. The price seemed fair. It was much nicer and bigger than other children's museums I have visited.

Plenty to do, lots to see. There are areas that are quieter for kids on the Autism Spectrum to go and chill on each floor. The baseball room on the first floor, the library or concession areas on the second, and a dino dig area on the third floor. No guarantee of privacy, but these areas seem to be the... More

Had a great visit with the kids and it does not take that long with those that have short attention spans!!

I bring my little granddaughter here on days when I have to entertain her while I wait for her daddy. It is perfect for that. It has many interesting exhibits. But because the children run wild, they often break exhibits.

We decided to try out the discovery museum for the 1st time on Fathers Day with our 3 small children. It was an absolute blast for all 5 of us. My son loved the entire 3rd floor with the Dinosaurs and Recording Booth. Our daughter who is two, was in love with the Goodnight Moon room and Charlottes Web room.... More

My kids are 3 and 7 and they both really enjoyed this museum. The cost is low, 7.50$ per person over 12 months so 30$ for our family. We stayed about 2 1/2 hours but we could have stayed for longer. There are many areas to play, many different interactive stations that the kids enjoyed. There are seats here and... More

kids always have fun, clean and bright, parents can find areas to sit around and rest a bit...their Dino section is quite good...the Goodnight Moon room is a must visit and has brought happiness to my children...i always take a few minutes to beat the drums, subconsciously it aligns to some long forgotten beat from my childhood - the rhythm... ... and this one is the best ever. Better than Portland. Way better than Boston. Lots of interactive activities that reflect our area and beyond. My son loves the tree house but I think the lobster/shipping boat is even better. Staff is friendly and engaging. Their camps are my kiddos favorite thing to do every summer. And the animal programs... More
