This is a fantastic tour. We had John as our guide and he was very knowledgeable about the fauna and flora of the Honey Island Swamp and great charisma. We opted for a hotel pick up in New Orleans and everything went really well. Highly recommended.

This is a great tour! Our guide (captain John) was a wealth of knowledge about the entire area and skillfully steared us through the most beautiful and trecherous swamp. We saw alligators, turtles, and tons of awesome birds. It was a great tour and im sure it would be even more amazing in the summer.

We went Sun A.M. 11/30/14. Our driver picked us up right on time and then as we were running ahead of schedule dropped us at a place where we could take a short nature walk, which was very nice. We then proceeded to the actual tour place and got on our boat pretty quickly. Brian was our guide and he... More

Unfortunately, we arrived late in the season, but we did still get to see a few younger alligators. Would love to go again when there were larger 'gators to be seen. The tour director was very informative and personable. The swamp itself was beautiful and enchanting. Definitely worth the time and money.

We did this tour after reading reviews for different companies and a friends recommendation. Had a great time, they picked us up from our hotel and dropped us back which was great. Our Guide Captain Ian was very friendly and knowledgeable and was a brilliant story teller. Captain Ian introduced us to some of the gators in the swamp and... More

We decided on this tour since it seemed to focus on teaching about the eco system. We took the large boat tour even though we wanted the smaller boat, which was fully booked. But we loved it! The captain was able to navigate the boat exceptionally well, was entertaining, friendly, and had a knack for finding all the wildlife we... More

We took the 6-person tour which was actually only the two of us and another couple, guided by Captain Wade. I think that was his name. He was a very knowledgeable and personable guide. He took us through the byways of the Pearl River, found us an alligator, Great Blue Heron, egrets, Ospreys, different plants including excellent examples of Bald... More

Beautiful area, knowledgeable guide who was both entertaining and informative, as well as being respectful of the animals and environment. Recommend the hotel pick up service- door to door transportation that was comfortable and pleasant. Saw plenty of wildlife, including alligators, turtles, raccoons, wild boar and plenty of beautiful birds. Highly, highly recommend this tour!

Took the 6 person tour, a little extra, but really got back in the swamp. Guide was John and he made the trip. Extremely knowledgeable and articulate. Great experience and I would highly recommend it. We took the tour in October so not as many many flowering plants as there would have been in April or May, but the scenery... More

We took the 22 passenger boat. Excellent tour all around. Friendly staff, clean facilities, knowledgeable tour guide. Small groups, great tour. Seems great for all ages.
