A must do eco tour of the swamps& bayous. Great people and a very good guide with a fount of knowledge. I went on the more expensive small boat trip and thought it worth every penny I would recommend it to all my friends and to the world at large.

This was an excellent trip. It was beautiful to see the wildlife up close and personal and so peaceful. Also saw some of the remnants of Hurricane Katrina which really brings it home.

Another must on your trip! You have to get out of the city and visit the state a little. This place let's you do that and see real people of the bayous and how they live, alligators and more. We took a 20 ppl boat and it wasn't too crowded and it was about $25 per person for a two... More

After some careful research my wife and I picked this tour operator. A van arrived at our hotel and the appointed time.A colorful gentleman named Ronnie was our driver. He kept us entertained and enlightened as we made the drive from New Orleans to Slidell, Louisiana. He even gave us juicy gossip about big time celebrities now living in New... More

We went on the Pearl River Eco Swamp tour. I wish I could remember the tour guides name. He was fantastic, and very funny. He said we would see alligators and we did. We have great pictures up close and personal. I was surprised they fed them marshmallows and hot dogs. He explained everything about the swamp and the bayou.... More

We took our 3 grandsons on this tour and they loved it. I think you might get better viewing in the 6 person small boat. We saw a lot of alligators, but no really big ones. We were on the pontoon boat that seats 26. We did see wild pigs, lots of turtles, and a lot of swamp. Our Capt... More

We were sent to this tour company by the concierge at our New Orleans hotel. The tour is touted as an Eco-tour, which I would not consider this. There are tons of gators in the water here, easily visible within a good distance of the pontoon. The boat driver fed the gators and other mammals marshmallows and hot dogs throughout... More

Something for everyone on this lovely tour of the swamp. We took the 6 person boat with the memorable Captain Wade. His breadth of knowledge by growing up on Pearl River gave us real insight to the beauty of this land. Request him and you’ll get that local knowledge. Alligators, wild pigs, insects, fish, flora and fauna; they were all... More

We had an excellent tour by Captain Wade. He grew up on the Pearl River and knows where to find a lot of wildlife as well as explain how the various parts of the ecosystem work together. His dad was a naturalist and professor at the University of New Orleans so he knows whereof he speaks. I recommend a smaller... More
