So thrilled we went on this tour, we loved it!! Our kids especially were impressed with all the sightings of alligators. Charlie was our guide & he did an outstanding job of educating us about the swamp, alligators and history of numerous living things there. He was patient and made the tour enjoyable for all ages.

We had Captain Sonny and he was awesome! (Turns out he had friends in our hometown!) Very knowledgeable and funny, too. It was my Dad's dream trip to see an alligator in real life...we saw A LOT! We saw a ton of other wildlife as well. Even pigs that almost jumped in the boat. It was a lot of fun.... More

Incredible. Knowledgable. Efficient. History. Kids and adults loved it. I heard from others that the other tours are not nearly as good. We saw a bit of everything. Worth it - and the price to get picked up at your hotel is worth it too.

This is worth every penny. Almost a 2 hour tour of the Louisiana Swamps. Saw Blue Heron birds (several), Alligators, Snakes, and Pigs. Got to see swamp homes, and some 1+million dollar swamp homes, quite a contrast. Got to speed boat a little too, a fun surprise. Excellent tour guide/boat driver. Really knowledgeable and entertaining. Just a really wonderful family... More

When we decided to take a swamp tour, I assumed we would book with one of the more highly advertised companies. I found this one on-line, really by accident, and we were very glad that I did. This tour is well worth the time and money. We saw a number of gators, snakes, turtles, and water birds. It was about... More

Very cool swamp tour, got to see gators and snakes, along with birds and plants. Kids loved it. Boats aren't that crowded and offer a great view. No bugs and we were shaded from the sun. Show up early and use the bathrooms!

We were picked up in front of our hotel, and that was at extra cost. Well worth every penny. It was like a whole other tour. Our driver John was a wealth of knowledge. It was a 45 minute drive and he talked a lot about hurricane Katrina and the devastation is still very apparent. Upon arrival to the tour... More

We were in town for the final four and enjoyed a wonderful morning touring the Honey Island Swamp with Captain Charlie. While the temperture was a little chilly, blankets were provided for all. We enjoyed seeing wildlife upclose; nesting wood ducks, wild boars, alligators, crawfish and much more! Highly recommended, well worth the price.

Hubby and I were very excited to go on this tour and we were not disappointed. Our tour guide has been doing this for years and was very knowledgeable. It was a little long, almost two hours. The weather started off humid and warm, we were dressed for it, but suddenly it got dark, cold and it poured rain. I... More

I highly recommend the Honey island swamp tours for families or couples, weather just right in April with a partly cloudy day and 75 degrees. Great scenery! Never knew the swamp or bayou could be this pretty. Need to call ahead for reservations! We didn't but got lucky with just 2 of us and got on the first boat out.... More
