Looks line a well intended plan that did not make it. A lot of the business has closed leaving boarded up buildings. There are a couple of good resturants left.

Holds the Louisiana Boardwalk which is a on the river mall it's selection of stores isn't the best but it's always clean. Also many hotel casinos if your much of a gambler

Very Clean,the sidewalk was big and walking was a pleasure along the river. Everything was close and easily accessible.

The Mexican restaurant is still there, and so is Fatty Arbuckles. Everything else has closed up or moved. The annoucement board listed events for 2006! What a shame - with it's artsy feel it looked like it had potential. I think most moved to the Boardwalk.
