Could see this bridge easily from the Eldorado Casino and Hotel. It is somewhat unique, but nothing to go out of your way for. More

Such a beautiful walk along the river and seeing the Texas Street Bridge all lit up after dark was wonderful. Made for a nice quiet walk after dinner. Easy access to the river and shops through the casinos. Lots of shopping opportunities along the river walk as well! The Farmer's Almanac was a really interesting store, unique as well. Next... More

Its cool to drive over and look down onto the red river. Although you know the river is red because of the clay... it still looks like moving blood. More

It's one of the best bridges in my opinion. It's in downtown Shreveport, and gives you the opportunity to see the river, and a few of the local boats. However, most people are too busy looking at the lights on the bridge as they go over to notice what's under it. :) More

The city of Shreveport put up colored florescence bulbs on the bridge, one of the old styles withn a lot of steel. To me, it just never gave off the effect that the city said it was supposed to protray More

Close to the boats and lots of good restaurants. Very safe and patrolled by the Shreveport to make sure that you continue to feel safe. There is a curfew for teenagers. Prices were good at the restaurants but not a lot of restaurants from around the world. More

I wish it had more lights. It makes a nice backdrop at night for photos when your at the Boardwalk but other than that...it's a bridge. More

The neon lights are not.supposed to.cover the entire bridge. It was done.by an.artist and at diff angles things are supposed to show up. I think Texas is supposed to show up from one angle but I have never been able to see it. More

Ok, the bridge itself is not an attraction. The idiots who designed it were too stupid to realize that the vibrations caused from cars driving over the bridge make the neon lights crack and break. So it has always only halfway worked. The bridge itself is historical, but you see all you need to as you drive over it, and... More

I went to Shreveport for a weekend trip, and I had read from a brochures this bridge has restaurants and shops and outdoor activities. So my boyfriend go over to the bridge and there is nothing down there. The only thing that was true in the brochure is that it has neon lights. The only thing we did on that... More
