We visited the Norton this summer. My grandson really enjoyed the children's area and walking in the gardens. There are also an impressive number of Remington sculptures in their collection. It is quite a nice, albeit small, museum. The staff were very friendly and I had worried about that with a small child. It worked out great!

Had a great time walking around the Gallery, liked that it was free. Kids loved the civil war displays and different gun collections were very interesting.

The grounds of the gallery have a walking trail along with various water features. Statues of animals can be found along the trail. Beautiful way to spend an evening.

The gardens are amazing! Something is always in bloom. Lots of trails with coves and nooks everywhere. Many sculptures waiting to be discovered. It is unfortunate though that you cannot take pictures, but I guess it forces you to be in the moment ;) Enjoy!

keep eye on your children, if you take them here. Not a child friendly place, too many things they would like to touch, and they aren't allowed to touch, make sure they don't sit in any chairs in the nursery story room!! The security will follow your family, if you have kids, felt like we were being stalked, or were... More

The gallery has an outstanding bronze and art collection as well as 40 plus acres of azaleas, Japanese Maples and other flowering bushes. The gardens have many sculptures tucked in here and there plus many benches where you can sit and enjoy the peace. The gallery is closed on Monday but the gardens are open.
