The museum has some very nice static aircraft displays, dioramas, and other Air Force memorabilia. The admission is free, but there is a donation box if you would like to help them preserve history. You may even see planes flying around as the museum property is adjacent to Barksdale AFB. There is also a very nice gift shop inside that... more

Very interesting museum. One of the most touching things I saw was the Widow's Handbook that contained the actual telegrams that a woman received notifying her first that her husband was missing in action, follow-ups to that first telegram, then finally, the telegram notifying her that her husband had died. It was very moving to imagine that poor wife reading... more
